MIGGZ's A3 1.8t - The all rounder build thread

hey guys

Not much has happened on the Audi for write ups worth lol

got my Speed and sound feature for this month, the biggest modded cars magazine in South Africa

here are some pics of the feature. when i get the digital copy i will post it















lol dont laugh at the WING COMMANDER and the funny pics of me

but Nick is mentioned and now he is famous lmao

lol they were it went from a 2 page sleeper feature to a full feature on my car lol

i was happy hahahahahah until the pics came out and i look like a tool and a avgas addict hahahhahahah

i have no idea hey maybe its either how the exhaust sounds when im at full chat, the bombing everyone when we were driving to the location cos of WOTbox or the hanger for the planes lol

btw found that pipe for the catch can so when ever you want pull in and you can have it

Lol spoke to him yesterday he said he is coming! The catch can is already in my boot hahahahah wait till you see how dirty its gona be on sunday lol
 
Hey bru, leka thread.. Enjoyed it alot. Inspires me to mod the **** out of mine...lol... job well done.. Im an avid SnS reader so i'll be checking out ride soon..

so as posted earlier by Joe we had a skidpan/gymkhana event a week ago.
skidpan/gymkhana is like a gymkhana with the tight course made up of cones but on smooth cement with water on it. The skidpan is used for the advance driving courses for simulated slippery wet road handling but we use it for events

Every time i go to one of these events i dont enter it to compete to see what my best time would be or to see who i can beat, but purely to have fun going sideways and pulling the e-brake as hard as i can without damaging my car or wearing out the tyres lol

And for the work done on my car so far and the bad news lol

so a lady in my complex decided she did not like how the front of my car looked so felt the need to mod it :(





i was heavy ******!!!! i saw it happened and ran to my car, i lost it so bad that when she climbed back into her SUV and locked the door thinking i was going to kill her!!! what made me even more upset is that her car is only a week old as she wrote her previous car off due to her bad driving

so popped bumber off and used a rubber mallet to remould it back into shape but now the paint is damaged. im glad that there is not much damage, the bumper was like 15mm away from my meth pump and intercooler pipes







ill get the bumper resprayed and repaired soon enough

now for issues as of late.

at full boost the car was pulling some timing and not feeling to good.
decided to change meth jet from 225ml/min to a 375ml/min and that is sorted.

now my throttle response went down as well and the car felt sluggish out of boost. so decided to remove the big catch tank and fit a smaller one that i made up and change some of the vac lines







car does feel more responsive and feels like it is not pulling timing at all.

will do a log run soon and dyno and see if it has gotten better

yeah you right could have been worse! she missed the lights by like a ball hair dammit could have gotten new lights lol

My friend was driving down the highway today and a kb200's wheel came off and hit into the back of the car fokked the bumper, the light, and the boot... swak. Hope yours is back to pristine soon :)

Damn that's a kak one hey!!!! Yeah there are other things to fix 1st then ill focus on that
