Surely the harness would show something odd during vcds logging which it doesn`t. C.P.S. changed also fuel filter, all vac pipes,tandem pump,injectors,turbo,N75,MAP,MAF,air temp sensor,fuel temp sensor.boost leak check,torsion 0*, etc.etc.No fault codes .The only thing I can think of is I`ve had EGR delete and DPF gutted and the exhaust sounds hissy even at idle.Could the rear silencer be blocked with all the soot that the DPF now can`t collect?
That`s an extremely generous offer on the money but so far I still have the miss.

If your certain it's not crankshaft position sensor then maybe look at getting the exhaust dropped off and checked as there shouldn't be a hiss when you're running. It's not a hugely expensive job or massive effort to do. Who did the EGR delete / DPF gut, and are you confident the work was 100%. I can't see any issues such as misfires coming from anywhere behind the centre section of the exhaust. Has the car been mapped for the exhaust modifications, and if so by who?

Some more guesses:
1) Anti shudder valve (throttle valve - supposedly can strip plastic teeth and fail)
2) Injector flow rate (were new injectors fitted with new seals - e.g. could these be hissing?)
3) Compression test cylinders to make sure they are all in tolerance (Check cylinder no.3 in particular)
4) Long shot - DMF (can mimic what seems like a misfire)

CRD Performance in Bolton did the EGR,DPF and remap.They gutted the DPF properly ,opening it up so it`s empty. I saw it being done.
The car ran superbly for months then started to miss at 2000-2400 only under hard acceleration.Under gentle acceleration no problem.
I thought it may be a boost spike but vcds only goes to 2601 mbars.and requested and actual are 2601.
Anti shudder valve`s ok by visually watching gears move and by vcds.

Haven`t checked injector flow rate or compressions but the way the engine starts instantly hot or cold suggest comps are ok.
