Build Week 18 - delivery date?

Morning,

I'm new on here, and am just about to make the switch from VW to Audi with my A3 that's on order.

I've now been quoted build week 18. Does anyone know roughly when that would translate to delivery to me?

Chris - welcome, only as a guide mine took 2 and a half weeks from build to the dealers. Other peoples vehcles have been held up at Emden for longer than mine was. Hope this helps a little.

Can't wait to get behind the wheel now, on test drive the 1.4 TFSI COD 140 engine was a peach!!

Chris - welcome, only as a guide mine took 2 and a half weeks from build to the dealers. Other peoples vehcles have been held up at Emden for longer than mine was. Hope this helps a little.

Mine was built on the 18th March, was at Emden for almost a month and still hasn't got to the dealers! So somewhere between 2 weeks and 2 months...

Somewhere between Sheerness and me is all I know at the mo. Fingers crossed I get it next week...

Im build week 18 and was informed that has been brought forward a week. so you maybe the same and expect it around 19th May?

I've been told I'm build week 18 and been told it's 5th May build with circa 26th May delivery (give or take a week). Welcome to the club!

Mine was week 16 but moved to 17 which was odd. Either way I've been quoted mid May. My salesman noted to me they are getting cars within 7-10 days of getting in to the UK. Hope he is right.....

Well if I'd known, I'd have chosen a dealer who didn't ship in via Sheerness but hey ho, patience is a virtue (apparently!).

I got told today that there are delays at Sheerness due to amount of cars and availability of transporters. Probably due to it being the Easter holidays
