Audi a3 tdi Bkd 2004

Looking at doing bigger brakes conversion seen Rs3 calipers

Are the disc one piece or bell type
Or what they like to replace

Why dont you go the 345mm route?
I just did mine this past week. Can either opt for the a3 v6 or the s3 calipers.

I'm running 9.5j fronts so have a lot of space so s3 brakes be better ?
Just wanting a nice look behind the wheel at shows

i think they are all the same brake, but the S3 one has the badge on it? someone might be able to confirm this.

This what i have on my A3, i think they are R32 brakes... lol.

I'll check my brakes on my tdi look massive now as old owner spent alot on it just won't bigger dics as the wheels need something bright to look posh

I demand a pic with the wheel on. If it looks good, might have to go grab some amirite, amirite?

Depends which version of the TDI (140 or 170). My old ones were 288mm (TDI 140).
Excuse the alloys, previous owner of the car seemed to like pavements (need to get them cleaned up still). New 345mm brakes (sourced from a3 v6). Going to clean them and paint them over the coming weekends.

So if look for Audi 3.2 v6 brake setup be alot better and easier to fit as well

The S3, A3 3.2, Golf R32 and another that I cant remember, all run the same brakes - they just have different colours/covers.

There is a full S3 set for sale on this forum at the moment....

looking at that a3 v6 brake, its exactly the same as the one i have which is R32.

Interesting colour! I'm trying to figure out what colour I want to paint mine...
Can you take a photo of your car from the side, showing the calipers with the wheels on, etc.

Dan, answering your question (if you have a quattro), its a direct fit as the hubs are the same as the s3. If not, you'll need a full hub setup too (I think thats correct info).

I don't have a Quattro just fwd so what bigger brakes docs and calipers will go on straight without hub change on the Audi family

Yh I am as well or get drilled and groove disk on mine better pads quess

Is the yellow a good colour ?
Was thinking bright green

Ye, I actually like it. suits your alloys.
Can you take a picture from further away? I'm hopefully going to do mine this weekend, if the weather holds out. But I'm going down the red route.
