I've just had the urge to go away this Easter rather than just sitting in London as usual.

Any recommendations for a long weekend break in the UK, 3 or 4 days for two adults and a kid??

Stratford Upon Avon is nice mate, straight up the M40 for you, plenty to see and do there, hotels are nice and you get some good deals too, not too far from Solihull and Brum as well and also near the Heritgae Motor Museum as well.

One for the list.. I'll look into mate, thanks.

Not sure the missus will be too pleased about the motor museum though

Hmmm I was going to say that the British Drift Championship kicks of this weekend at Lydden Hill in Kent....

But judging by the comment above I guess the Mrs won't enjoy that?

Port Lympne and Howletts wildlife parks are also good and close by to the area in the SE - Saturday at the zoo and Sunday at the track? :eyebrows:

If you like beautiful beaches to amble along without worrying about warm temperatures, Northumberland takes some beating. Add to that lots of castles to visit, quiet roads, fresh air, soft water.

Rothbury is a great starting place.
