Each to their own but IMO those wheels are no where near as nice as the standard 8V S3 alloys...
That's surprised me how much the wheels have made the car seem like an 8P to me
This is where I agree with you on the each to their own part, as I believe the rotors are way better than the standard S3 alloys

im toying with getting these 19" OEM wheels too, wonder what my current 18's would fetch to help soften the blow on cost.....

I had an email saying this morning they categorically would not fit without spacers
So I'm going aftermarket route as they were that blunt about them fitting, didn't even give me the price I asked for

what about these!!! It would be awesome.Minus the shoulder pads/spoiler of course.
Saying that Grace Jones had them and she got away with it.
My car had sat in Emden for over 2 weeks awaiting shipping. Well worth the wait though
Well update from the dealer today.
Car is built, left the factory on march 31st. Now it's sitting since the 4th April awaiting shipping in Emden. Going direct to port of Tyne tho which is good.
Then if the car ships which should take 3-4 days it still might be waiting over Easter depending on when it sails. Dealer said it'll be sitting in customs for about a week before it's released to the dealer. So still 2-3 weeks. Still not feeling its real tho.
Yes totally agree, I have a set of Team dynamics pro race, which looked very purposeful on the Cupra, but don't suite the S3's lines at all. Struggling to find a purposeful looking wheel tbh, think I've settled on the Neuspeed RSe12 in anthracite.

Louay, are these 8.5x19? What offset? and are tyres 225's or 235's?
I little more noticeable but nothing intrusive imo. PSI of 37 all round and it's fine. No complaints from passengers either! Just rubber neckers at petrol stations and traffic lights and anywhere else the car comes to a halt
Need to be careful with 225s on 19s guys. Assuming 225/35 19, they only come in 88 load rating at best. Is there an 88 load rating (or lower) tyre combo on your tyre placard? If not you could have problems with insurance if you need to make a claim.
If fitting is the issue I would look for a wheel (narrower or different offset) that allows you to fit a 235/35 19, which will comply, rather than a smaller diameter tyre. Don't worry about the 235 being slightly taller. It's only 1.5% and not an issue compared to load rating.
If your tyre placard has an 88, or lower on it, go for the 225.
I cant see Rotors being on the new RS3!
They have been done to death now and audi will be moving on from them imo..
Its likey that it will be V spokes on the RS3,the same wheels that alot of B8 RS4's are spec'd with.

For anyone looking to change to 19's this is what received earlier in an email
"For the newer 2014 Audi S3 we use 235/35r19 normally which is best fit, but when using the Michelin Super Sport tyres we use 225/35r19 as they measure approx 5-6 mm wider due to the large shoulder they have"

Seeing as I opened this can of worms, and caused some distress in the process (never my intention, sorry) I'll try to clear up what the issue is. This link should help explain what I'm on about.

It seems the SB has a lowest rated tyre of 92 on the tyre placard. The 225s are only rated 88, about 11% less, and the 235s are 91 or 2.3% less.
Would I fit 225s to a SB? No. Would I fit 235s? Yes. Why? Audi have complied 19s for the saloon, and Golf R for that matter, with 235/35s rated at 91. They just didn't waste money complying the SB because they never intended to fit 19s on that model. If 91 is good enough for the saloon and Golf, it's good enough for an SB. Unfortunately this argument won't wash with an 88 tyre.

The lowest rated tyre load on my placard for the SB is 92 for an 18inch wheel. So having informed my insurance company that I have made a modification to the wheels ie from 18inch to 19inch what difference does it make to the validity of my policy if I have declared the change?
Also peeb, if I went with 235 in 19inch with a rating of 91 like for the saloon and Golf R that's still less than what the placard advises so would that still cause any policy issues even though I have informed my insurance company accordingly? How can the tyre rating index advice on the placard be applicable if it offers advice for 18inch alloys only and not 19 when the insurance company are aware of me going against the manufacturers advice?

They only care about the cost of replacing a more expensive wheel in that regard. They assume your tyre wheel combo is as per manufacturers recommendations otherwise. Ie they put the onus on the owner to ensure road legal etc. When was the last time your insurance company asked how much tread was left on your tyres or if your window tint was too dark?
Tyre load rating is independent of what size wheel you have. If they said you can have a 19" rated at 91 and a 18" rated at 92, you could use a 18" rated at 91 if you want (not that you'll find one).
Technically an SB can't have a 19" wheel because no 19" tyre has a load rating of 92. But if you really want a 19" you would be best getting a 91 load rating as you could, if ever needed, argue that Audi and VW sell a variant of your car with them and you might get away with it.
Try explaining to the insurance company, not broker, what the issue is and see if they will give you a written OK for your tyre with the size, load and speed rating in the letter. Plead ignorance and be very nice. Tell them the tyre fitter said they would be fine and you took their word for it but have subsequently discovered there may be a problem and you want to do the right thing, which you obviously do. Make them feel sorry for you. I can't see them going for an 88 but a 91 could be done if you explain the sedan has them.

I'm going the other way (because of the V6T)! Did test the S3 8V, but on the day the V6 engine clinched it for me, it's sublime.
