Had bluetooth fitted yesterday at perrys after a long dispute with them about selling the car to me advertised with bluetooth when it didn't. I drove the car home yesterday and everything was fine. But turned it on today and it said turn ignition on to deactivate component protection. Anyone know if I can deactive it without going back to the dealers. I'm really getting sick of this car and perrys. The radio and cd player now doesn't work at all. Bluetooth works though

Only Audi dealers can remove component protection.

Thought so after a read online. Heard they charge about £200.

they should charge no more than an hours labour, it take less an 5 min to remove CP using their VAS system.

they will only charge 30mins labour for this.

if you are close to huntingdon they are good for updates when retrofitting.

You need to keep taking it back to Perry's until you are happy with it. If you let anyone else touch it Perrys will not be liable any more.

The only exception to this is if you send a letter to them telling them that you are not happy and give them a reasonable time (say 14 days) to sort it out. In the letter say that if they do not sort it in 14 days you will take it elsewhere and reclaim the cost from Perrys.

Am sick of Perrys but looks like I'm going to have to go back again. That will be the 6/7th time they have not sorted it out and done what they said they would. Feel like giving the car back. Really have had enough of them.

Don't let anyone else other than perrys touch this ..... Once they do get it right you want compensation in the for of some cash back from them for what you have had to put up with ....
