Mine are a lovely rusty colour

I once painted my tt calipers red with jalpac (I think from bnq)

Would probably like to do current b6 ones silver but just don't have the time :(

I did mine in Hammerites 'Hammered Silver', looks clean and OEM

I did mine gloss black, I think unless you have big brakes it's best not to draw attention to them.

Silver, red works I think

Good shout on gloss black, clean and very subtle
Any pics?

Glad to see this thread was debating over colors last night, and to do a bigger brake conversation, is this easy todo as me rears need replacing like last week??

More pics guys if you can, nice 1

Done all previous cars with Hammerite. The Avants will be getting done, I'm thinking either black or silver at the moment dont think red will suit it.

Im thinking kawasaki green lol but will they look daft with hem been standard size brakes behind me black 19's

Was thinking of doing mine this weekend. Does the colour of the car and wheels make a difference to what colour people pick?

Mine are matt black. But they're nothing to shout about.

im very tempted to paint mine in hammerite smooth gold, pic from google

Just watched an episode of wheeler dealers Porsche 993 one which had gloss black calipers
Quite like it

Think not silver as neighbour new standard focus estate has silver lol

I assume you have to unclip the caliper clips , are these easy to come off?

I did mine red a few years ago using japlac paint but will be doing them again in the next couple of week black smoothrite.

Yeah it does look good. Krisavant had his in gold and on the same colour car as mine so hoping he has some pic's. Gunmetal is a bit different to the norm but not over the top.

Doin me ed in so just been shop and got me a nice tin of Hammerite Smooth in Silver, was going to go outrageous green bu need to keep some bling / silver look as everything is goin very black at moment lol

Went todo mine today but the weather was terrible. Wha i have noticed is it looks like the rear disc {which need replacing} are either oem or originals as they are audi stamped. Take it you jus have to whack these if the hub as the is no holding screw?

Painted ones

No holding screw so a tap with a soft faced hammer should free it from the hub.

Try opie oils as they did have a offer on brembo disc's and pads but not sure if it's still on.

What colour callipers go well with a blue body?

I've just bought a disc pad set to do the same upgrade, £225 for everything from EBC brakes (I have one a few streets away). Can do you the part numbers when I get home if you need them. Went for Premium replacement discs and Ultimax pads. I think going from 288mm discs I wont notice they are not Brembos etc......
