..all the links in the threads are out of date and are dead, can someone point me in the right direction for the chrome tips to replace the downward pointing ones on my SB.

I have searched before someone suggests it, but as i say the links are dead now.

I would like to fit pipes that look as close to the real thing or the genuine ones, all depends on quality and cost (as always).

Thanks in advance.

Think Iv been the most recent mate! I went to my local powerflow and had the downward tips cut off and replaced with 75mm ones!

Before

After

Any place that does custom exhaust should be able to sort you out!

Did they supply the tips to you or did you give them to them to weld on?

What sort of cost is that to have done if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks

They supplied the tips they had loads to choose from!
I paid £80 all in!
They cut, positioned and welded to my requirements so thought was quite a good price!

Was looking at getting mine changed but found proflow who do a custon fitted cat back and whatever tips you want for about £250 so im thinking I might aswell have a new stainless system for that eh?

I didn't want it to sound any different, what's the point it's a diesel and should be seen not heard! Lol my mates fabia sounds like a bag if nails with a straight through! Lol

You can choose the sound level mate from standard to loud mine is a tdi so im just getting standard myself

When I was at audi I priced up the tips from them direct, nearly fainted at £124 for just the parts!
Also you see lots if people with grub screw ones whereas I had mine properly sleeved and welded so was well pleased with the result!
