Lasted all of five days!

Got my first new car (A3 sportback) one week ago exactly, and on Sunday some absolute idiot decided to clip the passenger side front wing and the bumper has some damage too!

Absolutely gutted, I was almost waiting for something to happen and lo and behold it did.

It's taking a bit of the excitement and happiness away and early signs are the garage who my work (it's a company car) are recommending are going to take an absolute age to fix it (talking end of April which is frankly ridiculous)!

I wish my first post could have been a happier one

This is my first accident or scrape of any kind in almost 9 years, it just had to happen!!!

Really sorry to hear that judicious. It seems brand new cars seem to attract prangs. Glad no one was injured.

That rotten bad luck, hope nobody injured. Also hope that you were still not on the Audi Free 7 Day Insurance - with the £500 Excess.

Thankfully nobody was injured which is the main thing at the end of the day. Just a pain having to wait so long for it to be sorted out and I'm not driving it until they check it out just in case there's internal damage although I doubt it.

Andy - it's a company car so thankfully don't have to worry about that.
