New exhaust

Mate, how did you find one of those over here !

This is basically the same thing. APR 2.5" Performance Exhaust System

But you can talk to revo and they will bring it in for you. Or contact statis direct.
Bought off revo uk via ebay for £500,they did have a few manual and tiptronic.Getting it fitted on thurs .Nothing like apr system, totally different system.

Good luck Andy.....heard some very good things about these Zorsts and built quality looks very nice....

Cheers

I will be having a custom cat made , will remove the smaller diameter 3 bolt flange and will have it changed to 3" from turbo flange through to the flexi and add a v band connector instead. This flange is the bottleneck it seems and it will have to be sorted before ko4 goes on.

Shame it doesn't come with a 3" down pipe. Nice exhaust! Looking forward to hearing it :)

Also 3" de cat pipe, no silencers until the rear box's

I like your style :yum:

Exactly what I am aiming for 3 inch from the turbo to back then a single silencer to split the pipe at the rear by the diff then 2 rear boxes with 4 inch tips to keep it looking OEM. Only reason I want the "middle" box is to keep the drown down.

It was abit droney to start with but it seems to have calmed down. Unless your driving it properly it's as quiet as a mouse, just has a nice sporty sound to it. Plant your foot and rev it all the way to 7k it really sounds like it's got more than a 2.0t under the bonnet.

Fitted today with no problems, not too loud on tickover ,a nice sporty sound at lower revs and when opened up sounds amazing. It is slightly boomy at certain revs but i am told by the yanks running these that they do calm down after a while. As for feeling more power,i would definately say it pulls much stronger ,but i have only been driving it for about a hour since fitting.I took lots of pics before during and after ,i will post later tonight when i get home from work and will try to get a vid up over the weekend.PS i agree with craig it doesnt sound like a 2.0 anymore lol.

Tailpipes are easy to adjust for length and are slash cut 90 mm which i believe is one area that people used to moan about the milltek (length).Fitment was perfect it sits nice and high for ground clearance but not a single knock on the body so far.😆The sound is really meaty without being too loud, sounds more aggressive than my mates 8l s3 with a milltek and my old a3 quatty with a simular milltek.Hopefully i will be able to do a video tomorrow and post it up.

I read this thread with interest as fancied an exhaust myself - but was not willing to pay £1000+ for APR or Milltek or use a local custom exhaust shop.

So late Monday yesterday I visited Revo and bought the last available Stasis B7 TFSI Quattro system just like Andy's! They won't be getting any more in.

But instead of paying via Ebay £560 (£500+£60 delivery), I paid..... just £450 and collected it myself! :eek:D

Having a saloon rather than an estate avant B7 means the interior noise should be quieter. They mentioned Andy, but I'll let him update this thread!

I'll update my build thread with my findings, photos & videos once I've had it fitted...

I paid £780 for the milltek which I didn't think was too bad

Yep too noisy at cruising speed for me ,i do lots of long family motorway trips so i am waiting for a res milltek instead, its a pity because the quality is good and it sounds awesome when pushing on,but too much when your not.

I was gonna say, my non res isn't that quiet on the motorway. So you've sent it back then?

Oh Damn.....really sorry to hear that Andy....that would have been one of my concerns too...still would have like to have heard the thing outside and in. Shouldn't be an issue for you to shift it on here.

Revo did say Andy was going to do this, well Andy I hope you find the Milltek more to your liking! Thanks for your message about this. I'm hoping the Stasis will be fine with my saloon. I noticed the difference driving back yesterday with my rear seats folded down down, the noise from the standard system was much louder. Good luck & let us know how you get on. I think I'll wait fitting mine until you've fitted your Milltek!

I will definately say this system flows well, the pull through the gears is unbelievable ,it feels like its been mapped again ,maybe the exhaust is really helping the st2 revo map that is on it.The noise on acceleration is really good especially if there are hedges or walls on the side when it becomes super loud.I think the system would have been awesome with valves built in to calm it down in normal driving conditions because under load it sounds superb,i wish i had done a rr before and after to test it.I just hope the milltek retains most of the power gains without the cruising volume, maybe if the statis had the touring system resonator inserts it might be more suitable but i cant take the chance, its a pity because i really like the build quality of this system. Thanks for the help revo guys i appreciate it.

Milltek resonated system now on ,much quieter whatever the driving, probably half the volume of noise maybe more, but it doesnt feel quite as quick, better than standard but the statis flowed so well it was a hard act to follow. It is more suitable for the family distance trips etc ie zero noticable drone so far ,but i do miss the hooligan element of the statis ,maybe the statis touring system would have been a better version instead of the challenge type. The volume may increase when the cat is sorted either decat or a sports cat, where as the statis i could not imagine how loud that would be with a decat. Thanks again to revo for their help in sorting this out, great service as always.Vids of statis were made inside and outside drivebys, when i get chance i will load them up and milltek ones too.
