I had a week off after being in hospital for 48hrs but that was mainly due to the head aches from the lumbar puncture which they said would happen as they have taken fluid which protects my "brain" aswell when they took spinal fluid.

When the doctor diagnosed me with glandular fever they asked if i was back at work and was shocked when i said id been back a week by the time they knew what was wrong as they said it takes upto 6 weeks to recover properly from it!! When i initially had it though i was getting home from work at 4:30 and going to bed and waking up at 7:30 the next day so yeah thats when i was sleeping alot lol

And the rash which appeared was from my high temp aswell apparantley

I woke up this morning, looked out side, it was wet, cold and I thought sod that. I'm taking the A8 to work not the F5.

Went the long way to work (Bridge not ferry) and it was a lovely drive.
For such a big barge it does well down the country roads.
Next time I'll have it set to dynamic and see if I can tell the difference.

Friday tomorrow as well.

Kitchens getting fitted now, but its looks like the sizes are a bit messed up, so the fitter is working round it and making it work, his plans look good to be honest and i think they are actually better than the originals, im hoping it will be done in the next couple of days now as its been far too long!!!

Realised yesterday after opening and fitting the oven housing that it didnt come with any doors, so thats coming next week now.

As for forgetting where everything is, we literally have a box of essentials and use that, everything else is packed away and will come back out once the kitchen is fitted.

Its actually quite stressful even though we are not doing any of the fitting, just watching it and waiting for it to all come together seems to be taking forever!!

Great weekend thanks. Really busy though. Out all day Saturday boozing then footy, then went out for a mothers day meal Saturday night with the old Doris. Yesterday was spent washing cars and gardening.

Really tired on my drive in this morning due to the hours sleep I've lost. ****** daylight saving!

What a morning hey, I just did not feel like getting out of bed today!!

Weekend was good, kitchen work still going on, but it should be finished in the next day or two now.

Yesterday was good, took the missus and little one to Stratford Upon Avon for Mothers Day, had a nice meal and drink, then a play in the park and finished off with a boat trip.

Today could also be the last day of junk food for a while

Dave, powder coaters...talk to me. Was it CAS you used? I seem to remember reading about you using somebody for yours, but it was in a random a3 thread and i can't be bothered venturing into that section today.

I need my 18's doing as they're going back on soon. Do they need sanding and filling first, or will they do that? Tyres are off them already.
