S3 Intercooler is usually what gets used, you will have to try and identify the IC you currently have. It may just be a issue with the map.

i think awesomegti have a sale on Airflo ICs fitted too if you live near by might be worth checking it out Westy
It is a sport single grille, from 2004+ I think
Cheers lads. Does this mean my fog lights and fog grills from my current 2004 double grill will fit this bumper?
I now need to source a single grill, a bonnet, a splitter, and a spoiler before heading to the body shop.
Cheers Ads. I'm trying my hardest to keep the car spending to a minimum. The whole point of this car was to save money but I keep seeing nice cars on here.
This bumper came from the previous owner of my car a he had it but never got round to sorting it all out. I've seen a full s line bumper, fogs, and grills available but i don't really want to splash the cash.
Just read it all and noted all part numbers. I'll have a little look about. I did notice that you've not done side skirts, any reason?
Also I don suppose you know the part number of your bonnet as I know I need one to match the single grill.
If I'm honest, after looking through your thread I think I'd be able to with my car with the single grill'd sport bumper with a splitter then an S-Line spoiler. it just needs a bit of tidying up. Obviously if the bumpers pop up in eBay for a bargain I'll grab them.
Undo the bolt that holds the lower arm to the hub, looks like there's no tension there anyway as that adjuster doesn't look like its touching the chassis
Eyyy see, I said its easy didnt I
Is that all the way down both sides, if so mine sits a lot lower
why would any one fit that intercooler it has a smaller surface area than the stock one so in theory = less cooling plus dare I say it is a smaller volume so less air . seems backwards unless you have massive turbo lag your trying to cure?
was it even plumbed in ? would be interested if it did make a difference it looks more like for a mk4 platform tdi than a mk5 as the mk4's have small ones on the side if I am correct and there the same as my old superb
I would have expected the opposite as it has a smaller volume by the looks of it
Why larger ? The stock one is huge . The s3 one isn't even bigger if I remember . Just ally end caps . Same volume . Only difference o could see would be colder air if it's in front of the rad and work fans on
And that's why darkide use them with 300bhp cars ? ..... The things huge the plastic end caps and the hose work is the weak point . The core itself ishuge I'd even dare say that the intercooleris one of the biggest stock fittement ones ove ever seen / used
