Hi,
This forum is a great place as it has helped me learn lots about my S3. The only person who I know that shares an interest in these type of VAG cars is my son where we have great chats. He is picking up an R32 on Thursday.
However, last Saturday I went clay pigeon shooting at Hereford and Worcester shooting ground. As I was coming back to my car I spotted a brand new mk 7 Golf R. It looked very sharp and I have to say better than an S3 8V I saw the day before.
The driver turned up and we got chatting. Lots of excellent discussion relating to VAG cars. Amazing, a member on here too!! I have friends who like cars but the depth of discussion is at the level of which car polish is best!
So thanks buddy for an excellent chat and it was great to meet a human with similar interests rather than bashing a keyboard just like this!!

Well I did, not sure the back end is enhanced by 4 exhaust pipes. They look more discrete on the R.

I find lots of people say the like/know cars but as soon as you enter into a conversation with them it becomes apparant they know mostly **** all lol. Hardly any of my mates are into cars, annoying really!
