A day on the car!!

Evening all had a day of today so decided to black out the grill surround and detail the car for first time. What do you think of it?

nice job thinking of doing mine what prep did you carry out, any undercoats etc and did you spray while still fitted to the car,

I took the surround of to do it and sanded the chrome a bit with I think.it was 1200grit a coat of primer which I.got from b and m 3 coats of colour then three coats of gloss
If you can't be ***** doing that get a can of plasti dip and can spray while still on the car

Looks like the bumper needs adjusting after it was removed and refitted,easy job to adjust them.

I thought it was a bit unusual how do you adjust the height it been like that for a while now

If u look on the slam panel by the inside of the headlight there you will see about a 18mm hole , if you look diwn this hole you should see a t30/t35 torx screw(there will be on on bith sides if slam panel), if my memory serves me right you need to turn these screws clockwise to raise the bumper and minimise the gap and counterclockwise to lower it. This is provided that you refitted the bumper correctly on to the adjustable properly. I did mine before i re tightened all the bolts on the bumper, but i believe it can be done without the bumper being loose,
