RS3 grill Group Buy

Hi Everyone

Quick update, i was supposed to be receiving the delivery on tuesday (tomorrow) but there has been a slight delay due to customs running a open door inspection on the container.

It will just add a day or 2 depending on how quick they are as sometimes can take around an hour.

Please hold tight as hopefully everyone should/will have them by friday.

I will keep everyone updated as i have been mega busy and low on stock.

Not to worry i made sure i ordered plenty....... well before the group buy was over.

Hi I'm looking for one of these grills in about 3 weeks what will the price be then?

Just to keep you all updated, open door inspection completed today

I will get customs charges tomorrow morning and delivery will be arranged tomorrow for thursday morning.

I will send all grills out thursday morning via ups next day delivery and all uk customers will get for friday

Its a shame the group buy didn't include the rs6 c6 grill in Black, I would have taken one.

Update time.....

All grills have been booked out for delivery some of you will get yours tomorrow some on monday as the ups driver did not have enough room on his van as i had that many going out.

Top class service Zee..........spot on mate. Enjoym yur grills when you get them guys and I want to see pics of all the cars with their new grills fitted.......oh and clean aswell.

Right guys since this afternoon I have been in conference over the phone several times with Zee and I have negotiated a great deal for those that couldn't partake in the RS grill group buy. He is prepared to allow myself to sell these grills at the stated price of £210 plus £10 delivery which is the same price as everyone including myself paid. So anyone that wants an RS grill then please get in touch. Any custom colours such as mix and match aluminium and chrome will be a flat £250 plus £10 delivery as per Zees reply during the Group Buy.

I think im one of the guys getting mine on monday. So fitting will have to wait till next weekend along with my newly refurbished wheels.
 
Mine has just arrived I have been informed, can't wait to get home now :D Thanks to both Mark and Zee!
 
Ahh missed this, does the RS4 B8 grill fit the pre facelift B8?

Unsure as of yet, I took the RS3 badge off straight away but my old S3 badge wont fit easily without some modification so i'll probably buy another S3 badge and butcher it until it fits, we shall see...
 
Yeah when mine arrives i will be taking off the RS3 badge as well. I had a look on ebay but i dont think there is a badge that fits the grill.
 
Looking good iv'e just ordered one of these, is that the original number plate housing looks to be leaning away from the grille
would look even better if the plate could b relocated somewhere elseSilverringsDesktopResolution

no it comes on the grille, the standard one goes the full width of the grille, also the numberplate is taped on with some fairly thick glazing tape at the moment until i can get a fresh one to tape on properly without holes drilled in it

edit looking at your pic above, the holder does look like it comes off the grille, it has 3 clips that clip into the honeycomb shapes so I guess you could probably move it around a bit of take it off.

Fitting mines going to take longer than expected, I didn't realise its a bumper off job. ******! The grill looks good though :)

The number plate bracket can be removed with 3 plastic rivet style screws, and then put back on quite simply...
 
Would someone be able to post up a guide to the removal of OEM grill and fitting of this RS3 rep grill please? I think it would be very useful for this thread.
