Morning all,

Sun is out with not a cloud in the sky down here in the SE.

Hope it stays like this for the weekend as the car could do with a spring clean and a service :kissmyrings:

Its meant to be a nice weekend mate.
Get that engine in and running.
You to Carl.

I'm bored of looking at cars!!

I know that feeling bud. You need to set your mind on the car you want then just search for local ones. We wanted a golf GT and didn't want to go further then 50 miles. Found "the one" 30 miles from home.

Dave them wheels are lovely!
Glad your resurrecting them again mate!
Was not a fan of the supra wheels you had on last time! Too fast too furious them where! 😁

I know that mate but there is nothing down here.
All cars that ticks my boxes are based near london, leeds, manchester or scotland.
There was one in NI that I planned to get but it sold before I had chance to put a depost down.

I was just about to say morning all, but its afternoon already!!!

Had a desk move today, still tyring to get used to my bearings :)

Hope you are all good :)

Not bad mate, the dining room has been stripped and plastered up now, builders are going to let that dry and will be back on Monday now to knock the wall through and brick up the other window and doors, re plaster the kitchen and lay the floor.

They did quite well time wise, so hoping the same will happen next week too :)

Anybody else got plans?

I'm out for a few brews tonight and a meal. I've still got a few car jobs to do if I get time this weekend. Got to fit new rear brakes and while I'm at it drop the coilovers. Also hoping the spline socket set arrives today so I can get the front seats out to clean the carpet.

Friday is finally here!!!

Not feeling great, i think sitting in the freezing cold whilst the work at home was getting done has caught up with me, but its ok, i will be fine :) (just in case you were bothered...lol!!)

Feeling the love, thanks guys :)

Im normally around Leicester on the weekend, but typically im not this weekend, otherwise would have caught up with you Dave.

LOL...any more updates you want to give us Jo?? ;)

That means a full suspension overhaul and new wheels and tyres then....

Ha, I wish, I have polybushed my front end, and powder coated the front subframe and legs. And I have a 21mm ARB to test out. I've just refurbed the BBS RCs, still the same tyres as the drift vid!

What vid is this JoJo,? ... you kept that quiet! :lmfao:

lol, if you look at jo's avatar mate, you will see jo drifting! :shutup2:
but, as a lot of pubers where there and seen it happen,he did not mean to do this! and actually lost control and amazingly kept it together while making it look like a spectacular drift around the corner of the track!

cue jo ............. with loads of haldex blah blah, my car was broke blah blah excuses now etc! :arco:

Morning all.

Did everyone have a good weekend?

I had a random thought over the weekend.
When talking about money we say the number and then the currency, 148 pounds for example.
So why do we put the currence in front of number when we are texting it and we still say the pounds after when reading it.
Should it not be 148£ if we text like we speak?
