Got my car back today and no alarm going off spoke to the mechanic and he said that they couldn't find what the problem was he just gave me the print out of the fault codes found

The battery can fail in the facelift car alarms. There are some write ups about replacing these rather than spending a zillionty pounds on a new one from audi.

The alarm started going off this afternoon so I have removed the alarm siren is this a good idea the central locking still works
