I actually saw the Fish and Chips in the shop the other day, but I just couldnt bring myself to spend 69p on them!!!

One of my faves was the Mexican Chilli French Fries, they used to come in a black pack....very nice!!!

Other awesome stuff used to be the crisps called "puffs"...tiny little air filled things they were totally awesome. also, Bacon fries and Chicken and chips (similar to the fish and chips above)

Puffs were amazing!! Didnt they have a rabbit on the front of the pack?

Had some of them fish and chips the other week and they are alot stronger tasting than i remember!!

Quater backs id like again but how they used to taste not the crappy ones they have on sale now

I remember a green coloured cordial, it was a tropical or a mixed fruit drink...cant remember what it was called but it was really nice and used to get me and my bro on a right ol' hype!!!

Um Bongo is still available, it got re-released late last year.

av4nt, it wasnt either of them, it was a dilute drink.

Andy, you are not a million miles away, so if you get a chance, pop into Kings Heath in Birmingham, there is a shop there called 'I used to have one of those', they have a massive selection of Jar Sweets and all the original selections too, decent prices as well, but I could easily spend a few quid in there!!

Jeeez, when I think back to some of the E number crammed shyte I must have consumed as a brat it's a wonder I'm still here based on how our media sensationalises diet/food news. I should be at least some part radioactive!

The thing I miss the most from my childhood is the humble United bar, a kind of honeycomb biscuit bar (same size as a club) covered in milk chocolate. They came in 2 variants, blue ('normal') and orange (orange) flavours.

The other favourite of my youth has thankfully returned, but when I was a kid it used to have 6 segments as opposed to the 5 it has today, the raisin and biscuit Yorkie bar. Pleasure you can't measure!

can get cheetos from american import stores, i love them! be careful if you have the flaming hot flavor ones though, i had a hangover in the states last year and ate a huge bag of them, it dyed my bowels red and when i took a ****e i thought it was all blood!
