Hi all, just bought myself a 2.0 tfsi Quattro avant, and as with everything I have owned I want to make it go a bit quicker, so what are the best options, would like around 300 bhp if possible. Thanks in advance.

Depends on your budget really; map is simplest and cheapest but then there's big turbo's, bigger decat pipes, injectors, things to bypass this and that, etc. Not experienced with turbo petrols (as my name would probably suggest haha) but these are just basic turbocharged performance principles.

+1 with DJ on comments. Pound for Pound imho a good remap from a reputable tuning firm will give you the best grin factor without putting too much of dent in your wallet. There are plenty of good recommended tuners on here in the UK, so finding one shouldn't be an issue.

Good Luck,

Thanks for the replys,Is it safe to say then that if I was to have a decat exhaust an uprated fuel pump, a high flow air filter and a revo remap that I should be looking at the sort of power I'm looking to achive?

Well you get close to 250horses wae a Revo remap, a couple extra wae a bigger downpipe, sports cat and full exhaust.....wouldn't have thought you would need a new hpfp unless you are modding your engine wae a bigger turbo and intercooler above 300bhp but don't take my word for it.....they'll be serious engine modder along shortly........I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the revo remap firstly....and don't forget a new cam follower btw while you are at it.

Yeah a new cam follower is on the list as well, just want it to feel quick , bhp figures are not that important, I would rather just have all the mods done before I get it remapped

Next stage from that really is K04 conversion and then further on to BT. A lot of people get good gains from the basic mods though, just depends on how much gains you want and whether you get the "modding bug" to go further.

I own my own garage so fitting all these parts is not a problem, just wanted people's experiance I.e that air filters rubbish and this one is recommended, you need xyz to make it feel quick but if you fit xyz it will be super quick but not blow the engine up.

The OEM Part Number: 06F145702C

Think this, correct me if I'm wrong, comes on the following:
- Audi S3 2.0 TFSI (8P/PA)
- Audi TT S 2.0 TFSI (8J)
- Seat Leon 2.0 TFSI Cupra
- Volkswagen Golf V 2.0 TFSI

Hope this helps

Just so happens that I have one for sale with the mods already done ;-)

How much is it? I have read that it also need a load of other bits to go with it as well. Do you have these for sale too?

If you have a look in the 'For Sale' section I have listed the details there. There are a few other bits you need to get, but there's loads of info on this forum about the conversion.

Can you post a link saves me trailing through all the pages lol or pm me the details.
