fast road cat cam audi s3 good mod

is it worth putting fast road cat cam (cam shaft) on my s3.
it currently has twintercooler. remape revo stage 2 +. apr fuel pump, v flow induction kit. forge dv recirculating, miltech full exhaust. currently pushing out 309 bhp on dino.

will a fast road cat cam be a good mod????

For the cost of cams you don't gain much on a turbo car.

cool. been reading up on them and they say its a easy mod with great BHP gains. they didn t mention none turbo only. suppose it makes sense.

Are you sure your only pushing out 309bhp at revo stage 2+ ? Should be around the 360ish mark

Frankly,on a Stg2+ car,the answer is going to be no.

The main sticking point on the car at that level is the stock turbo,which is pretty much finished at 360-380bhp,which is what your car should be producing right now.

The other point will be the extra lift and duration of the new cams,and whether or not that will clear the stock pistons.

If you have a big turbo conversion,and want over 600bhp,having done ALL of the other things you need to,including the correct pistons and rods,head and valve work,then it would be worthwhile,but on a stock head,mine is already turning out around 500bhp.
The point there is that the stock head and cams are pretty good,and you would need to be looking at a lot of work to make a set of those cams worthwhile.
