Peeps,
just got a quote from Admiral regarding insurance on a stage one chipped car and they say that as long as it's not an increase of more that 25% bhp! they'll cover it. So for me it's about an extra £70 per year, how's that sound?

I've found Elephant/Admiral (same company) very good with mods, just gone onto a 3 car multi policy with them. Apart from being very well priced it is also easy to discuss your individual needs on the phone, something that is not true of many companies these days.

Admiral are daylight thieves. try Chris Knott above they just saved me £254 from least year with numerous mods.

Chris is right. We also insure people on here on our scheme. Give us a try :)

You would do better taking a crap into your hands and clapping than let the mongtards at Admiral/Bell/Elephant/Diamond anywhere near your cars cover. Had several dealings with them and always been a total ball ache.

I've had no choice but to go with Admiral for the last few years - nobody else even got close to their quotes.

Fortunately I haven't had to make a claim, but I've heard very few good things and a lot of bad from them. If you have Admiral as your insurer, I'd recommend getting Audi's Ensurance (free for 3 years), on the theory that it's better to run the claim through them rather than Admiral.

My Admiral claim went tits up, in terms of Admiral and claims they've royally taken the **** not concluding by renewal time tying me in with another year charging stupid amounts because they class it as 0 years no claims despite if it had been sorted this would be 3+, still hasn't done anything despite sending all evidence and repair costs, even tried getting me to put the claim through a third party company ****** con artists.
