Hi,
I fitted them to my car last year, the foottrest is really easy but the three pedals (manual gearbox) were a real ***** to do. I ended up removing the lower dash panel beneath the steering wheel, and the complete throttle pedal assembly so I had enough room around the brake pedal for the wedge tool I was using, it also made fitting the pedal cover to the throttle a lot easier and enabled me to establish a method to fit the other two. I did put up some pics somewhere on here.

What model are these from RS4/S4? I have them in my B6 and would like yo fit them when i change to a B8.
Thanks,
Matt

I was chatting to John not so long ago about this mod and he was very helpful, this is what he was saying about this mod:

"John sourced the part numbers from AudiEnthusiasts RS4 Pedal Swap John found that the LHD accelerator pedal fitted better than the RHD pedal.
Part numbers are:
LHD Accelarator - 8E1 721 891
RHD Brake - 8e2 721 989
RHD Clutch - 8E1 721 647
These are from a B7 RS4 but fit great once on, and look the part.
Total cost was around £100+".

Hope this helps...

As above, and yes you do need some patience when fitting these, I found steeping them in hot/boiling water helped to soften the rubber, this made them a lot easier to put manoeuvre into position, see audi enthusiast web site. Please make sure if ordering these that you get LHD accelerator pedal, I know audienthusiast suggests RHD but I ordered this one and it didn't fit.

Cheers JG

See " pics of my MFFBSW fitted" page 7 of a4 b8 forum for an idea of how "good" they look. :kissmyrings:

I have just had a call from Audi UK and they have confirmed that there is no kit for my A4 and they don't think one will be done but they did say that there are pedals for the LHD version but these are not available in the UK

Very Odd...

Right so I have had a good look at my foot rest and pedals as im at home today and its nice and light and the pedals look the same as the ones in the link but my foot rest is completely different mine is almost flat and has no sides as the floor is the shape of the rest so I think I would have to get one and find someone to make one to fit ...

and I have a very stupid question ... do the clutch and accelerator pedals slide on over the top of what's there and the breake pedal is the only one you replace ??

re. the pedal's, on mine I had to take off the rubber covers on brake & clutch pedal, replace with chrome rs4 ones. accelerator pedal didn't have a cover on it, so it was just a case on putting new chrome pedal cover on.
re. foot rest, I'm going to do some more research on this over the weekend, and hopefully get one that fit's b8, and, or b8.5 (facelift) as the German's call it.

When i fitted my B6/7 pedals all 3 replaced the original rubbers, i left the new ones in a bucket of hot water while i removed the old rubbers, smeared a small amount of fairy on the metal surface and with the help of a hairdryer popped the new ones on it was a p bit of a pain but not as bad as i expected, great results though i also fitted red door lights in where the footwell lights would normally go wired them into my heater roller light feed and now have red ambient footwell lighting, looks good against the aluminium pedals.

I have just ordered the RS4 pedals and ordered the LHD acc pedal with RHD for break and clutch £96...

So the Acc pedal just slides on over the rubber that is already there ? and the clutch and break pedal rubbers come off and are replaced with the new ones ?

Yes mate, although I think it was the brake pedal that was a pita to fit, patience and perseverance required. If you follow some of the previous tips re fitting these you should have an easier time of it.

Thanks JG ... I am planning on useing the hot water trick to soften up the pedals and maybe an evaporating spray to help them slide into place.

Fingers crossed !!!!!

Hi My local Audi dealer ordered them for me :-

Acc Pedal 8E1-721-891( is the LHD one NOT the RHD one )
Brake Pedal: 8E2 721 989
Clutch Pedal: 8E1 721 647

Thank you, all i need now is the B8 black edition to go with them.:) still the B6 will die some day.

Fitted the S4 pedals last weekend to our new 2011 A4 BE Avant. After a little screaming the pedals went on but I just can't get the foot rest to clip in, they lugs don't seem long enough :(

Good job fitting the s4 pedal's mate, I've felt your pain but a worthwhile mod imo. Do you have a few pics of foot rest and part number.
