Sportback Boot Liner

Hi guys,

Just thought I would share this with you. Found a SB bootliner that fits, is good quality (IMO) and doesn't cost nearly £100!

Got it from The Roof Box Company (Car Roof Boxes | Bike Racks | Roof Bars - The Roof Box Company) for the cost of £40.45 inc. delivery.

Seems very similar to the Audi one but for a fraction of the cost. I've attached some photos, I hope this helps.
Looks very nice, will be putting in an order soon.

Same - mine is currently across the back seats of my current car (wouldn't fit in the boot!)

Mine just paid for itself after a 1 Litre bottle of billberry wheel cleaner 'sprung a leak' in the boot.....

Thankfully the liner contained all of the fluid and the boot has remained unscathed! (At least it would have smelt pleasant even if the worst had happened!).

Not sure, but that looks like it's for the 8P - you might be better off asking in that forum instead!

Good thinking. I'm going to try and squeeze the one from my Golf in there.
Got a mk6 golf at the moment with a boot liner, getting my A3 Sport back April, did you get your old boot liner to fit nicely?

Has anyone put one in their S3 sportback? Just that with my last S3 SB the standard fit boot liner didn't fit properley - as the boot is smaller on the quattro model. Price wise - £70? You're kidding that's not expensive; especially for an Audi OEM item that'll last (and last) and fit properly. Of course you could always buy some dross from Halfords and make do ...

I got the one from post #24 in this thread - £45, and it's brilliant. Love mine.

Is the 8v brochure available now then? I like the heavy duty anti-slip look of the one in my previous post and it's only £35.

Yes there is a November 2013 Accessories brochure with prices for the 8V available on the Audi UK website. Just go to Request a brochure.

The £42.00 version in that brochure, the parts catalogue says is for 2 door models. The is a rigid model for the Sportback with high upstands around the edges (8V4 061 170) which costs £170.00 and a flexible one with 50mm upstands (8V5 061 180) which is listed at £82.00.

Ordered one for my 3dr and received yesterday. Very happy with it and especially for the price. Puts the £45 audi one to shame.

I have the semi rigid load liner.
Fits well and nicely made, but having been involved in sourcing and purchasing similar items it's very expensive for what it is.
Sadly it will not fit with the boot floor in the lower position.

Steve, where did you get your semi rigid liner from, if no pic's before can you post some.

Does anybody have this Boot Liner?

From here Audi A3 Sportback [8V] (13 on) with 'space saver' spare wheel:Rezaw-Plast boot liner, black, no. RZ232030.
If you do can you post a picture of it showing the fit etc, and any comments about the item.

Dunno about that one, but I bought the Calix one from the same people (Roofbox.co.uk). It is a perfect fit and has the recesses in the upstand so you can still use the cargo hooks when boot floor is at highest level.

Cheers, Paul

I have the same one as Belfin, it's great. You can put something in the middle of the boot, and however 'hard' you take corners, it just doesn't want to move!

I have the Calix one too from Roofbox and it is made extremely well and very grippy.

Order the Calix one as well, will see how it fits :)

I've just ordered one of these, being delivered next week.

Has anyone else taken delivery of one of them recently? They look perfect at a decent price...

Had mine for 9 months now, still just as good as it ever was! You won't be disappointed with it I'm sure

Spot on! That's reassuring to say the least.

Don't think I've looked forward to a boot liner quite so much

Arrived this morning. Is a great quality and the finishing touch that it adds is spot on.

Highly recommended!

Well I received this today ,and honestly guys I am not really struck on it at all, feels cheap, thin and not great quality.

Considering returning it for possibly the rubber mat also listed here, looks proper heavier flexible rubber just like the interior rubber mats.
I wouldn't recommend this calix liner to anyone!

Anyone any further views on which is the best boot liner for a SB ? - in my case S3 so interested in high floor options.

I'm torn on whether to buy a proprietary one or go the carpet route.

I've been using the Calix boot liner for 5 months now with no complaints - well made, a perfect fit and you can still get to the storage net hooks in the corners. Paid 50 quid delivered from roofbox.co.uk.
