Looking for some inspiration for a 08 sliver A3 appearance

Picking up my new A3 2.0TDI sport tomorrow and I'm looking for some inspiration regarding what I can do for the looks of the car.

I've had a quick look through the 'A3/S3 Photos' thread but nothing really impressed me so I'm wondering if any of you lovely gents could point me towards some well styled sliver A3's. So far on the upgrade list are the facelist front bumper and rear lights but other than that I'm not really sure!

Facelift front bumper or just a prefacelift S line one?

For a facelift front bumper you'd need new wings, as well as a new bonnet and new headlights... And then you'd more than likely need to get them all resprayed. Easily a grand mate if you don't get Xenon's

I'm not 100% sure on the difference but I'm meaning this one,



I'm hoping this is one that can be easily fitted? Or am I completely wrong?

You're completely wrong mate, that one would need all of the above. One of the reasons I'd have purchased a facelift outright... However a normal s line can look very nice!

I did question getting a facelift version straight away but none appeared to be in my price range without a large number of miles on the clock.

Would it be possible if you could show me in the direction of the front bumper that would fit my car, if possible?

The s line bumper would be a big improvement, especially with a black optics grill. That'd would be my first mod.

Looks so much better without the tacky chrome and colour coded bumpers, what were Audi thinking putting those on! The car will most likely be getting lowered with large profile wheels to, feeling black wheels would suit.

I love the look of those, only issue is they're so common! Where is the best place to get a black optic grille? Ebay? or a private store?

I'd rather have brand new than second hand if possible.

Must admit the black optic grill does like smart against the silver! Might pick one up if you manage to source one too.

You could always vinyl wrap or plasti dip your grill instead, same result. That's what I've done with mine.

I picked up a black sline grill rep for 50£ on ebay couple years ago. Makes a massive difference

Just as a suggestion,

I changed my front lights for a decent set of aftermarket DRL headlights because I don't have the funds for a full facelift, I know alot of people arn't keen but I love the solid light bars, great output and in my opinion update the car a little.

Think I might join you with the search from some S-Line front and rear bumpers, they look spot on!

I'd be interested in that! And just standard halogens or Phillips Diamond Visions in my case!
