Any news on a date for this guys, I would quite like to know if I have to change a shift, I've got to give some notice of any changes.

Ok, I've been itching to get this booked and things so set up a quick spreadsheet to see what the best dates are to get something organised and booked. That way we can get everything organised so people know what's going on and can change shifts about and get babysitters and such. 
It's looking like the 16th is the overwhelming winner in the dates with only one not able to make it (sorry Markos72!) out of the 17 so far expressed interest.
S3_Jacko - do you want to just get it organised for then so we know it's going ahead?
From past experience a non-refundable deposit is the best way to go to secure your place, this tends to stop people dropping out better than just having a name on a list... Any objections to that?

Ok, I'll give him until the weekend to reply then start arranging stuff in his stead since there was a decent amount of excitement for this and I'd like to see it happen.

Sorry guys.... Fully intended to get this updated this week but just been busy with other things... I'm gonna start a new thread on the revised list and get all names down and date confirmed... Then we'll take it from there...

I emailed them to see about the best package and also if they had the 16th free in the afternoon.
This is their reply:
'The GP3 costs £39.75pp, as all drivers are on track together we can take a max 14 only.
Recommend our team endurance with 16 or 18 drivers split into teams of 2, Kart per team, 10min practice/qualifier followed by 40min Endurance race.
Top 3 teams with most laps receive a medals presentation on the podium. Cost £40pp, to book require £10pp deposit with balance one week prior to event.'
I think there are 16-18 of us so the endurance is probably the best option?

Oh, forgot that Sunday was the 16th! I presumed because all the dates were in March that's what we were talking about?

Try and make it next time,like I said nature of my job,weekends are part of my working week and no leave allowed that weekend as we have a big job on in Queen Street tunnel.
