Finally got around to getting the car cleaned up all nice so thought it was time for some half decent piccies. Gonna try and grab some night shots next week.
I'm not a fan of the colour, however it would have looked so much nicer with privacy windows Good choice on the saloon though, how are you finding the 1.4? I can feel the COD kicking in and out quite clearly on mine....

The car is a standard 2.0 TDi SLine in Daytona Grey with the Interior Light Pack and Privacy Glass.

Well finally got her tinted...looks so much better now.

I've has medium tints on my current car and the previous one and never once been done for them despite been pulled over many times current car I've had 7yrs and been stopped easily 20 times
That's lucky but doesn't mean it's not illegal if you were ever in an accident and the insurance company found out your insurance is invalid.

Thanks. The S3 is in the dealer now as the interior fan has developed a fault. It runs on after you have switched it off and when you finally get it to stop you can't turn it back on.

The car is from Crewe Audi but i bought it in September last year. They have three more S3's in which i saw today two red and one blue. The red ones are a 3 door and a Sportback which they have just bought from Audi UK. The blue is a Sportback.

These pop up screens really do not do it for me, really prefer them to,be integrated into the dashboard.
I think these are the best I've seen. Take the A-class merc - how aweful does the screen look? Its like a poorman's retro fit screen onto the dash. So tempting to just yank it if I i was a yob.
Thing is a lot are going for the more stuck on look for some reason, take the merc c class the current one is sat hidden in the dash. The new one is like the A class! Might look awful but apparently they appeal cos they're like a tablet. Won't be long till it can be removed and used as a tablet

The screen was one of the reasons for buying my saloon. All the others, such as the Golf, Seat etc., you have to look down at and touchscreens are useless, if not dangerous, to operate whilst driving. Audi being different....
I think the screens are thin and elegant, and with the tech pack a decent resolution and size. The folding mechanism is a bit of a gadget, but you could say the same for pop-up B&O tweeters in an Aston Martin - no one complains about that!
The nicest A3 Saloon I've seen so far. Was gonna go Daytona Grey on standard S Line 18" but I like this car so much that I've ordered the same thing. Phantom Black on 19" is mean! Nice ride Keithd32
I've never been pulled over so 20 times seems excessive! Do you yell and swear at coppers when you pass them?
Never been stopped once in my whole car driving career, and that's too long for me to remember..
