hi all,

Fitted my new alloys this morning, they are the 19" 'y' spoke alloys from an Audi A5 with ET32

now I wanted to fit the bilstein B12 kit with sportlines but I think that might be a bit tight now, what do you reckon?

Is that the standard suspension? looks a bit high from the pictures.

Are they 9J wheels? Get some slight stretch on the tyres won't have a problem with whatever suspension you go for.

Sportline is supposed to be 45-50mm drop I think you may struggle with that if you have the car loaded. The camber increases as the suspension goes down so will give the tyre a bit more clearance but it does look like it would possibly foul.
As said above going for a narrower tyre will help but if you have good tyres on the car at the moment you would want to keep them.
You could go for a lower drop as the tyre will be closer to the arch the gap looks smaller, well it does to me anyway.
The Pro kit is supposedly 25-30mm or try some Eibach springs.
Fitted them to my SE, Theres some pictures in the build thread.
Alternatively a set of coilovers will give you the option to set the ride height to what ever level you want. A decent set won't be much different to the cost of the Bilsteins.

No mate. They are 8.5J
Just put brand new 255/35/19 tyres on so was looking for a suspension to suit that rather than paying out for new tyres

Loving the car mate.
Yeah, after looking at that I think the pro kit would be the safer option.
Just wondering with the bilstein B12 kit, if the sport shocks are shorter than our standard SE shocks so might get a little more than the 40mm you said you got on standard shocks

Found this, same car, alloys and tyre size as me with eibach sportlines
Looks like it could work
