Police frame pedestrian for drink driving

What would have happened if he just said "Yes officer" and walked off as instructed instead of fighting him?

In all theses videos that try to show the police in a bad light, it starts off with the public berating or trying to argue the law with the police.
Just smile, do as instructed and move on.
Your video and time with the police will a lot shorter and more pleasant.

Think your missing the point scott, they are trained to deal with most situations, just because he isnt doing as asked, doesnt give the cop a right to try and frame the guy, anyway i hope he loses his job, the other cops were just acting on what they had been told from a colleague, so presumed it was true as you would..?
He should have taken the test ..it would have been interesting what they could have charged him with if it was a positive test...:search:

On the other hand i do agree in most situations its best not to cause a situation in the first place... but this was a picket line and feelings will have been high

If someone provided a witness statement to the effect he had been driving earlier, he could be charged with drink-driving.

They tried to do my ex Mrs for Willfully obstructing a public highway, initial court hearing too.

She parked as normal 50 yards from work, and a massive artic removal lorry tried to gain access to the road, other cars had parked around her and to the opposite side of the road.

The Police were called and we're able to contact or locate the owners of the cars except her despite her mobile phone number being recorded with her insurance company. Her car then became the sole obstruction despite it arriving earlier than the others.

After work she phones me up in floods of tears thinking it had been stolen. It had been inpounded.

After the initial court hearing and comming 2nd , they dropped it at the 11th hour but also threatened to reopen the case if she went to the press.

I'll leave it to your imaginations of what we both think of the Police and Justice system of this country.

any follow up on the guy after he was arrested?

Unlawful Arrest of Lawful Observer on Barton Moss Road in Irlam Salford protest against fracking - YouTube

Youtube Link Above said:
After the camera was turned off, 08076 David Kehoe breaks camera strap in order to seize camera from lawful observer. Because of advanced storage technology, the video data was stored by the device to be recovered when the camera was eventually returned on 31st January 2014. Further developments are:
A police complaint was made online on 3rd February 2014 using GMP online form. This was ignored by GMP and a formal police complaint was attempted at Newton Heath police station today at 2pm. Log 940 5/2/14. The civilian worker ECO 66653 Elley claimed that getting an Inspector down was "not the way it is done". He said the procedure was for an Inspector from Swinton would call. An Inspector Windsor from Swinton police station phoned and filled in a complaint form. I have also emailed the complaints section at complaints@gmp.pnn.police.uk so that there is a further record of the complaint. GMP has a history of ignoring complaints. Make sure there is a record of your complaint. They have 21 days to deal with the complaint before formal litigation is started.
