Replaced the pump tonight and now it can be heard working and the washers pop out of the bumper, yet nothing comes out of either.

Anybody experienced this before?

blocked pipes
the popups need water preasure to pop up so surprised theres no water

I've had mega issues with my rear washer and the pump was running and no leaks anywhere.....but no water coming out the jet!! The cause was a faulty jet. Yes, it was brand new out the repair kit but took a lot of poking and fiddling before water started to spurt out of it with decent pressure instead of just a trickle. Check that there's no kinks in the pipe work, the washers are not blocked up with crap or misaligned. If you can, can you get the water to come out of the washers before everything is assembled together so you can sort of see what's happening as you operate the pump?

Good luck Sir and let us know how you get on.

sounds like blocked jets, as above if they popup there is water getting to them,

What's the best way of unblocking them? I don't want to risk damage. I suppose I'm going to have to mess about getting the ****** covers unclipped again! :sob:

could trying blowing compressed air through them, from the pump side?

With the pipes disconnected blow backwards through the jets with an airline. Against normal direction of flow. Should clear them out.

Yes. The washers rely on water pressure to push them out of the bumper. The fact they are raising indicates pressure/fluid is getting to the washers. It just can't spray out of the jets/nozzles.
