Hi guys need to order 2 new tyres today and torn between pirelli p zero rosso and eagle f1 asy2. Both seem to get good reviews and pricing isnt to different but never run either

ive had p zero rosso on my a4 in 235/40/18. Have them on since june. Did 10k miles and the tyres are done.

Wont be using them again. great grip but the wear on them is too quick.

Car always has tyre pressure checked, alignment etc and there where no problems with car just very quick wearing tyres and i use car for work..

What are your priorities? Dry weather grip? Wet weather grip? Wear rate? Steering response? Noise levels? etc. etc.

I was going to say the same thing about the P zeros. They are old designs and there is a lot more improved/better tread patters on the market these days. But was waiting for a reply first :)

Id like good wet&dry grip ideally. Dont mind as long as i can get above 10k as i do a fair bit of driving

Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's, 16k 4mm left, great all rounder, but just awesome in the wet

Well you wont get that with Goodyear F1 As2. Thats for sure.

The Vred are a good choice. Michlin PS3 great all round a bit pricey. Dunlop sportmaxx rt thou again are slightly a softer compound so wear rate will be accelerated.

I was commenting on something you said about that as long as you can get 10k miles on a set of tyres.

My reply was you wont get that on Gd year as2.

A little soft is a understatement. They very soft. Probably get you around 7k miles thou does depend on how you drive. But they are amazing tyres in dry and wet weather is incredible I have them on my weekend car and they incredible.

£135 is a bit steep usually around £120-122. So about £50 quid difference on 4 but not the end of.

Cudnt even find them online for £130 on camskill. Im steady away not to heavy on tyres or brakes. As lomg as the grip like sh1t to a blanket in the damp that'll do me. Esp with sprogs in car

I ordered the 1's with A rated wet grip

Place at doncaster i go have yet to be beaten on price for fitted tyres in our area.
