Interior light LED upgrades help

Hi,

I remember a guy on here who sold LED interior light upgrade kits for the B5. I bought one for my old TQS and it vastly improved the lighting. But I can't remember his name.

Anyone know if he's still around as I'd like to upgrade the S4.

I've tried ebay but no one does a full kit as such and I can be bothered buying bulbs from here there and everywhere.

I did the here there and everywhere and should of just got a full kit as it means taking all the bulbs out see what size they are then doing it all again for fitting them lol

Anyway get that TQS sig changed with that nicely spec'd S4 haha

Haha. Will do. It's having a full valet tomorrow so do some serious pic taking afterwards.

I did all the taking out the bulbs thing as the setup is totally different to my FL TQS (the S4 is PFL), but it's s a minefield on ebay making sure they are Canbus, error code free, not from some dodgy seller, not from China that take 4 weeks to come etc etc.

I dropped a ******* with the TT LED interior lights, buying off ebay. They mustn't be CANBUS ones cos they are really bright initally but if you switch the interior light on while the doors are shut (e.g. to find something/read a map etc) they are super dim. Rubbish.

Rather get a proper kit off the forum, then I know it's right.

How much are these as I'm needing to replace a few bulbls on my car so this would be worthwhile for an upgrade

What cars you got guys?

Are they both pre facelift?

if so here is the pricing for the kit
front dome and boot - £6
map lights - £6
rear dome lights - £6
footwell - £8
puddle/warning - £16 - red door panels
boot - £6

I will do the kit for £39 which is the same price as when i did the group buy a few years back for the B5 owners.

the front light has the centre light and 2 smaller ones either side, then 1 light above each b pillar
and a light in the boot area
forgive me not knowing exactly but new to audis

My kit ordered now. Can't wait to fit them. Make a staggering difference to ambient lighting. I reckon it's one of the best mods you can do for the money.

You may have 2 lights in the boot. 1 at the top and one off to the side. You'll also have 2 rear number plate lights that you can change, front footwell lights and puddle lights in the bottom of the doors.

Ah sorry, just re read,yours in an avant not a saloon so probably only 1 boot light

yeah mate ive got a light at the front 1 each side above the c pillers (not b) 1 at the rear and the 4 red lights when the doors are open
plus the 2 number plate lights..

Just got my kit and fitted it. Wow! What a difference. Can actually find things in the car at night now!

I have always thought the interior lights were good on my silver avant.. had never paid much attention to them though untill I was stripping it yesterday.. its already got the LED bulbs so there getting swapped into the quattro so im cool.
