OK, I'll admit I can't spell the name of the place, but it's t'other side of Llangollen (have I got that right) on the A5 - at 'point of the EVO Triangle'. Some of us were there earlier in 2013 in a bl**dy cold but seriously 'WOW' day.

My names down for meet, a GO Kart blast, why not. Maybe RS3's on the track too, did it before in ignorance, but I know more now, Mark!

Don't know what day, don't care; don't know how much, same: but a group of us RS3 (or whatever) guys would be oh so neat.

So 1): names down

And 2): when?

A stick in the sand, I'll go for May 15th.

Lets go for names and then date - I'm retired so don't care; anyday and any weather for me, but lots of you guys will have (work????) issues so please show interest, or not.

Where else, even?

I just think we need a meet!

2) She's in - RS3copilot, NOW confirmed...

PLEASE, anyone who know how to manage a list on this Forum then please DO IT.

I'll talk to the man at Cerri ..thuin - down the A5 aways - and sort the day, price for the day, whatever...

Yes I'm in too, the Mrs might Kart too if the weather is reasonable. I'll check on dates when I'm back in work, any time is usually possible with enough notice. It's a good 4 hours drive for us so we will look to make a short break of it too.

The track is Glan Y Gors Arrive and Drive | GYG Karting
I might be interested if the timing is right. Haven't been there for a few years used to race Rotax Max at GYG and Three sisters in Wigan.
Can I bring my own Kart probably a little quicker than the arrive and drive stuff, 28bhp 125cc rotax 2 stroke. One of me a few years ago at GYG.

That's EXACTLY where I said Karl, all the same letters as you but not necessarily in the same order... hope you can make it... :jump:
 
Missed the last one but I'd definitely like to make this one. The first weekend in May is bad for me (wife's birthday, so other plans) but otherwise I can do most weekends with advance notice.

Love a bit of karting fun too, but I'll need to ratchet up the diet if I'm going to be competitive! :)
 
Just to put a stick in the sand then, the 12th to 25th May is looking good for everyone currently interested :yes:; we can narrow it down later.

Looking at GYG Karting's program for 2014 they have a round of the 'Little Green Man Championship' on Saturday 10th and Sunday the 11th May and nothing else till 6th June when they host a stage of the 'Three Castles Welsh Classic Rally', that could provide interesting viewing.

Couldn't imagine you doing the 25th John.... think you know why... a few RWD cars are cruising up a hill, past a casino, through a tunnel oh and a swimming pool and then doing it again 78 times... :eyebrows:

As most people work the only weekend available dates in May at the circuit are 17/18th can we set these dates in stone?.
 
I would be interested in tagging along if that's ok with you guys? :unsure:

For me it's an excuse to meet with like-minded friends so I don't care what you'll be driving; if it's a seriously nice day I'll be in RS3copilot's TT with the roof stowed…

Great we will come along then, as it's a weekend and a 4 hour drive we will make the most of it and stay over in Ruthin Castle again.

Today I have no car at all which is the first time for about 19 years.

We're having a lot of fun choosing at the moment but it's safe to say the Datsun is indeed high on the list. Got to make a bit more space first though. I'm not sure just one car can replace the RS3 :unsure::)
 
Things seem to be quite quiet in general here at the moment. I'm in Wales on the 18th anyway and was planning to meet up if I could.
