No one should. Colour is the most subjective and personal part of placing a car order, so you have to get it right for yourself only and not bother with what others say about your selection.

Yes I have ordered Estoril, still doesn't mean I'm getting defensive over a colour. I asked you a simple question and you came back with a rather childish comment.
I changed from Estoril to misano then back to Estoril after feeling a little let down when I saw misano in the flesh.
I was merely making a prediction, turns out I was correct.
Anyway, glad you are happy with your colour.
Extremely happy, when I went to see the misano I was fortunate enough they had an SQ5 in Estoril on site too.
I'm waiting for clarification that my car will come in Estoril blue after the rumours on here earlier today.
I feel a bit left out ordering in Amalfi white with all this talk on Estoril and Misano ! Think only one other person has ordered that colour. But as previously said by others - totally personal choice.

I've got a laser blue mk5 golf GTI at the moment, lighter than estoril, similar to racing mica blue but seeing as i haven't seen racing mica blue in the flesh can't see if it is that similar to laser blue or not. previously i had a crystal blue metallic Audi A4. this Estoril would be my 3rd blue car in a row, (if i can still order estoril).
i did want white for my next car but really wanted IBIS white. seeing as they don't do that anymore , and my dads got a Glacier white A8 i wanted something different. thats why monsoon and estoril were my choices. though i very much like misano too - but don't generally like red cars.
if it turns out estoril is a problem, even though i think pictures don't always do it justice, probably like most colours to be fair depending on lighting conditions etc i will go monsoon most likely, though the misano is on the table too...... i just can't decide. haha i wish they would just lock my build so i have the choice removed from my indecisive mind!!!!
I've never been this picky over a car colour before. theres usually a definite "gotta have it in ...... colour" but with the S3 theres a few i like ..... oh dammit this dilemma!

Maybe.....Barbie pink sounds good. Could they do that on Audi customised?
I shall be giving Ben a call tomorrow to clarify this colour issue, hopefully he will have a definitive answer for us!

That would be my first choice had it been a standard or exclusive colour!

Sorry coming a little late to the party here, what kind of discounts have people negotiated off the new S3, just put deposit down today and wondering if the deal i got was good in comparison.....

We'll if the issue of colours is confirmed it's reduced my options making it potentially easier for me to make up my mind.
I was torn between 3 choices, Sepang and Nogaro with a wild card of Riviera- if Sepang is now off the table - just the relatively 'safe' nogaro or the not so safe Riviera blues to choose from. Decisions decisions

Yeah 6% was what I got from first dealer, second came straight in with just over 9% so sounds like I didn't do too badly then... Have you been given a lead time?
well had a look through brochure again. if i can't get estoril, then ill change to monsoon, with the £150 folding mirror option. then still saving £100. was kind of tempted by amalfi with the B&O speaker pack for about 5 mins then looked at monsoon again
but monsoon it is. i hate it when ideas get put in my head. thanks Joetidman
I got a quote with orange wheels but didn't find them overly competitive.. Definitely didn't see figures like that being knocked off!!

Got 7% discount in belgium. No packs or so available here. Had to order everything separately... Hope I like my color. Never so doubtful before about color but after 3 cars in white (A5, Golf 6 and scirocco) I think the time was right to choose Misano...
