I would get the car mapped first and then the exhaust removed. I am not 100% sure what the car would do with the DPF cored out and not having had the remap. I suspect it would probably drive fine as long as all the sensors are reconnected correctly.
But if you have the remap and DPF coded out first then it will work fine up until the point when the DPF blocks up because its not being regenerated but that will take quite a while depending on the state of it before it's mapped.
wouldn't be a problem for a few weeks I wouldn't have thought.
