Has anyone tried Surround sound with B&O speakers, I would have thought a music DVD with surround would sound great, only problem being there aren't many decent music DVDs.

Cant you just play a normal music CD lol why a DVD?

A standard audio CD doesn't provide surround sound natively, whereas a music DVD would most likely provide multi channel audio.

Out of sheer curiosity, I tried playing a DVD of Skyfall at the weekend in the car to test the B&O sound quality as it's supposed to reproduce authentic 5.1 surround sound with DVDs. Sounded absolutely epic. Sound was as good as watching it in the cinema!

For music, it does digitally alter the sound to create the surround sound effect, (configurable in the sound settings menu). I tend to keep mine on half setting for the surround effect.

Anyone manager to display Videos on the Tech Pack with B&O, when I had the test drive at the weekend I could play sound from video from the Iphone but not visuals and it had the Red AMI cable. Didn't spend time on it but just wondered.

I don't think videos play through BT. Need a physical DVD/SD.

I connected the phone through the AMI cable (red one specced for video). My Other half's A1 shows video if you select Video source on the MMI. But I haven't enable VIM yet.
