A3 Bluetooth Audio options

Hi, Im new to the forums, just purchased a 2012 Sportback SE and am looking at installing bluetooth mainly for music streaming but Handsfree being a nice extra.
I was looking at the Dension Gateway BT Pro however was advised against it by one company and they surgested i either purchase the Audi BT (no music streaming) or the Bury CC9068 which allows music streaming but the MFSW buttons wont work.

Is there any other options that allow BT music and handfree or is it a case of replacing the Chorus HU with a £300+ unit?

Welcome to the site.

TBH there would be 3 systems to get all that working oem, all of which we can supply/fit 100% as factory, 1st the rns-e, the audi phone bt kit & then the ami with ami bt dongle.

With all this you would get all oem systems with mfsw control, sat nav, all phone features & wireless streaming & track, artist, album data via the rns-e screen to scroll through.

Have had a few options given to me by different companies. One surgested a Fiscon Audi Basic BT, they said the MFSW buttons should work and would allow me to use BT streaming. Anyone using this has any feedback?

Yeah bare with me mate I havnt forgotten you at all & I don't touch fiscon, I've removed them, not fitted due to issues people have suffered, then fitted oem which never had a comeback on ever.

Well have had a major PM'ing session going on in the background with NHN and I think just the RSN-E will be suitable for my needs using the SD cards to contain my music instead of BT streaming.

I would love the RSN-E but my only concern is the VERY high theft of these units in and around the area where I work. Its bad times when you can't get something that would benefit you due to low life thieves isn't it! If only there was a way to deter them!
