Some fighting talking going on here. The original question was fastest colour S3.

I will be willing to let some of you race me in my silver S3 to find out what its like to loose in a slow red, blue, red, yellow, black S3

The only threat to me is Staceys S3, Tuffty is part of my team being Silver.

I'm pretty sure this is all a bit of light hearted banter....

Although if you are offering to bring out your beast of an S3 to go slaying, I don't mind getting whipped just to see that in action! lol

Happens all the time when I'm out with my mates in there bigger and stupidly powered toys so I'm used to it by now :)

Oh yer all banter mate

Its having a few tweaks to get more out of it as i sold my GTX3076r Turbo and waiting to install my OD HTA3582r Turbo and 1600cc injectors, down pipe and system and off to get remapped.. Also planned is a standalone Haldex controller to make the most of the 4x4

Do you know of any other 8l S3s that are UK registered with more power than yours Andrew and keeping the 1.8T block? Surely yours has to be one of the highest powered 8ls?

1600cc injectors....crikey....that's what my mates are running on there 720bhp GTR (al be it 6 of them :eyebrows:)

When the car is completed are you looking to Santa Pod it/ ADI it up at all?

Don't know of any 8L S3's running more power than mine? if you do know i would like to know myself?

It should be all done my May/June i hope

ADI will be on the cards and maybe Vmax at Bruntingthorpe where loads of people try to break 200 mph

Yeah a Vmax event would be pretty cool to attend, I was speaking to Craig last year actually as a lot of my mates get invited to Vmax and after a friendly chat he didn't mind if I was to tag along with the big boys so I could Vmax my motor in a safe and legal environment. Think I need to add some more horses under the bonnet before I divulge into that conversation again....

I expect you'll definitely be taking yours off the clock in that standing mile :D

I would love to race you. Purely just to see what yours is like. I raced a mate in an ihi ibiza in my old stage 2 s3 and the difference was massive. Id imagine you would do to the ihi what he did to me. Crazy.
 
A V8 Audi R8 find it very hard to keep up with me

I know someone with a V10 R8 and refuses to race me as he said if he looses he would have sell the R8 and get a lambo but his wife would leave him if he did.

I would like to think my white s3 is the fastest colour but it isn't although it does LOOK the fastest colour
 
There are several S3's out there with considerably north of 500bhp, but not on the 1.8T block that I know of :)

Im sure you will agree with me that silver is the fastest colour even in Sydney you have the fastest S3 :salute::aggressive::superman:
 
I don't think I hold that crown here. There's a few around but maybe with the new engine. A guy here is building one for drags with a fully built engine and a 6262 on a CTS kit similar to yours. That'll make more power than mine I bet. It's taking ages though like mine...
 
Yeah I think he'll do well. His Golf R got into the 11s with the stock K04 with bolt ons and a minimal interior. For the sake of the thread, his S3 is the nice graphite color :)

I'm just in Rothwell. Seems like there's quite a few Leeds lads in this 8L section.
