Hi, I'm Ryan and new here. I've come looking for advice, so first off I'll give you a basic run down of where I am.
I currently drive a Corsa C 2004 1.2, and I feel the time has come for an upgrade. Originally it was no questions asked a 1.8 Astra SRI. How ever when I posted think on Corsa C UK, I didn't get the replies I though I'd get. People were saying why are you sticking to vauxhall, on your budget theres much better cars out there.
I was recommended to go German, but in my price range, £3250 max, I couldn't find anything that looked decent with good miles. How ever I was told when buying the likes of BMW, Audi and VW the miles don't matter, just a good service history and well looked after car. One of my mates has had both the Audi A3 and VW Golf GT TDI (I think there the same engine) and both of those have been way over 100k miles and not once been in a garage.
What does everyone think on buying German with high miles? Since you are the owners I guessed you'd be the best to ask.
Thanks!
