What have you done today?

Took mine out today, running a lot smoother now i got rid of all the PCV system, leaking like a sieve! down to phils tomorrow to get it smoke tested and scanned, then wont really be using it much till after christmas (despite it being my only car) I'm getting my downpipe/decat fitted on the 2nd, then off to bills on the 7th for a remap, will be the first car i've ever actually got around to mapping! excited :D

Changed the oil and filter in the pi**ing rain, on ramps and on the drive way. Why do I always choose the wettest day of the year!

I picked up a clean coolant tank the otherday, so today decided to swap out my manky one, the plan was to siphon out the coolant which I did and swap the tank and then put the coolant back in.But when it came out looking like it did, I thought it best to drain it and rinse the system through a few times and put fresh in.

Old tank and coolant

10 minute job turned into a couple of hours, but glad it's done :)

gave mine a quick jet wash before it went dark, will fiinish it off tomorrow and get a few pics :)

Kerbing alloys has to be one of the most frustrating aspects of car ownership, especially when the Mrs says 'it wasn't me!' lol.

Changed my 17" RC's for some 18" RSTT's today. Absolutely love the RC's but they're too small :( the RSTT's must weigh twice as much as the RC's, but they look so much better size wise.

Great day!!! Not

Replacer rear wiper motor!! Great

Water supply pipe for the above leaking...remove air box, strut brace, and plastic cover to cables,, repaired pipe , washer works great.

Thought why not give every thing a clean....... Found split in tip..... Only happens at Christmas!!!!!!!!!

Cleaned up all earths under battery tray and one going to starter motor, cleaned throttle body and then performed throttle body alignment.

Seems to drive and idle smoother now.

Need to clean my throttle body soon, my idle is gash!
but for today i shampooed the whole car, g3'ed a few minor scratches out, then went over the whole car with SRP, threw a bucket of water over it and it beaded up lovely :D also went over the glass with rain-x. just need to invest in some wax now

Mine needs a good clean/polish/wax and rain x too, weather has been so crap recently I haven't had a chance.

Forgot another one too, re-wired my boost gauge the other day too, as was only illuminating when headlights were on, now it's in with ignition :)

Had new kenwood DAB stereo fitted, gave her a wash and fitted some new floor mats with S3 logo, put new tax holder in with S3 logo just to finish it off

Finally got around to sorting out my droopy headlight today I did intend to swap the clip in the working one too but it started raining! I went with the aluminum clips off eBay and it all seems good can't believe I left so long not sure how I'll cope seeing the road ahead of me!
Think I'll strip down and do some preventative maintenance on my rear wiper if it's dry tomorrow then hopefully next week it's dogbone and sump cleaning.

Well, it was yesterday rather than today but I managed to get the car cleaned and a coat of Collinite applied, all in the sunshine! Best of all, the kids were actually behaving themselves indoors while I did it. Wife was at work.

Was it all a dream...

...no! Ooh she's so shiny now.

Perfect day.

Sorry to hear about the rim JoJo - my worst nightmare.

Took my car to her MOTd and she failed on the passenger side headlight being to low and unadjustable :(

You can adjust it manually.. I popped my s2000 filter on today! My JR one is Starting to rip!

Went for a nice 100 mile round trip down some a and b roads after having my decat and downpipe fitted, sounds amazing and pulls like a train! 3 days till Remap :D

You can adjust it manually....

I tried this at the garage yesterday tbh mate and when I was adjusting the passenger side manually, it would try to move the beam up higher but it wasn't actually moving the beam up more than a mm or two. Drivers side worked perfectly.

It didn't feel like the thread was being caught by me turning it, so I think it may have popped off the thread where it's been undone or tightened up too much before :-/

not a huge amount of detail on here about that part messing up from what I've searched :s

That's what was on my last MOT before I had the car passenger side headlight low and unable to adjust. The adjuster screws didn't appear to do much but ended up being fine but the plastic motor clip was snapped so it just pointed down.
I didn't bother even getting the full bumper off just unscrewed the side I needed and pulled away enough to get the light out you can twist the motor out to inspect the clip it's obvious rigt away if it's knackered. With the light out and back off you can properly see the adjusters too as one of mine had been backed out totally so wasn't touching the light. I managed to wind it and guide it back in and it's now working again. I did an output test and both lights move up and down now just need setting properly.
Worth the half hour to check though and I'd recommend the aluminum repair clips off eBay seriously solid looking!

Just stripped down my rear wiper mechanism the brass pipe had split luckily nothing appears to have gone on the mechanism looked brand new. Replaced the pipe and it's all back up and running! Another nice easy job out the way.

I emptied the pond that was inside the track car, jump started the old shed, and went for a hoon with Jardo.

Was good fun!

that splitter still makes me laugh, usually i would hate big pointless aero, but seeing as you actually track it and it isn't pointless it just makes me love it, the front end has so much presence because of it.

Remap!

No where near the figures most of you guys are getting (only on a stock k03s) but it's the first car i've ever managed to have running well enough to consider getting it mapped. That difference in torque was quite fun to play with on the way home :D Now to start reading up on intercoolers...

What meet are you going to Jo?

Ive just come back from Kettering way (Huntingdon), as was on a site visit today.

Remap!
