car wont start (imobiliser fault codes)

hello my A3 wont start i got the fault from vagcom: 01179 - incorrect key programming any ideas?

have you been trying to do anything with the car? or have you literally just come out of the house to go somewhere & it won't start? what year A3 is it & is the immob symbol flashing?

i changed the battery with used battery and after 1 km the car died i restart it and drive again 400m and dies again and now its start for 1 second and cut off. immob symbol is flashing since i bought the car but its started ok and now its cut off. please advice car stuck 3 days now

Sure its battery and not alternator ?

yeah i have now new battery and its perfect i have the car 1 month from private seller

its not fixed i said the battery is ok now but car still cut off

Hi, I had that yesterday and told to leave the key in the ignition for one minute then turn, it work for me hope all go's well.
