Popped into dealer today... He checked and told me that the build week for my SB TDI 184 S line Quattro (ordered Nov 1st) is now week 8 when it was week 4... Cheesed off cos I booked the 1st March off work for handover but now it seems it won't even be in the country then... Other people seem to be getting their cars come through EARLIER than estimated. Oh no, not ME. 'Unlucky' is my middle name!!!...
Build was week 4 - now 8!... :-(

Maybe better getting them to double check the spec u ordered ... U don't want any unwanted surprises later on.

My car has also a delay of up to four weeks. It is really better if you don't book time off until you've a firm handover date..
Spec is checked and confirmed at least. Can easily cancel the leave but as a paramedic I have to book leave months in advance or I simply don't get it... Hey ho... I guess it'll come when it comes. I've waited this long!..
I ordered mine 30th Oct and got delivery date of 14/05/14....last week i got an email confirming the same date! ¿Issues with delivery?
Hahaha!... We're NOT well paid! (25k...) I'm buying my A3 with some cash I sidelined after selling my house when my Mrs and I got together. A treat to myself. This car has to last me a LONG time!!!
To b fair school IT technicians don't save lives... BUT agreed - teachers are SERIOUSLY underpaid AND underappreciated. Both my folks were teachers and it's a job I'd not do if u paid me double.
My daughter and son in law are both teachers. They deserve to be paid more as do nurses etc. However with this current Government all public sector workers seem to face constant criticism especially from an ar5ehole called Gove!
