Beach Buggy K250 Turbo Ordered! Now I need matching injectors! Help!

Hi all,

Have just ordered a Beach Buggy K250 Turbo from http://www.beachbuggyturbos.co.uk/ after some long messages to Dan on Facebook about my options... (Mega helpful and friendly guy btw!) The turbo is going into my Mk1 Golf 1.8T which is currently a stock(ish) setup. (I have 3.0" Decat Exhaust, FMIC, Cone Filter and hotgolf lightened flywheel and Sachs G60 Clutch running OEM management)

So basically I want a set of injectors to suit, what are my options? I think I need 440cc? Or can I get away with 380cc? The cheaper the better (To keep the Mrs happy this side of Xmas!) ideally I want genuine Bosch...Any input appreciated!

Coincidentally I was going to message you later tonight... I spoke to you yesterday Bill, on the phone. I decided to go for the K250 in the end as it requires less supporting mods and I don't think over 250bhp in such a light car is particularly necessary, stock power is already silly!

I also tried to take a look at my ECU last night, but I need to take the centre console out to get to it properly, so will do that tonight and let you know the part number to check it can be flashed. It had the immobilisation removed by Will @ P-Torque over a year ago if that means anything about not being able or being able to flash it, I imagine not though... Is there an AGU ECU I can buy that can be flashed if my current one can't be flashed or would that mean changing the engine wiring loom?

What is the cost of having the exhaust manifold ported by yourself, I saw a few threads a while back about it but no recent ones. It is a stock K03 and it's not cracked although the current turbo is.

Nope! I have a set of ev1 Bosch red tops for sale though. Direct replacement for agu injectors.

Apparently they do if they are EV6 some fit but it's hit and miss and might require some sanding of the seats to get them in. In any case, you have a PM!

Siemens ev6 630's will fit, but all the oe 386cc are too short, you can get them to fit by widening the seats and trimming the sides off the injector, asking for leaks though. Agu ecu's don't like the later style of injector too. Pm on way back.
