MIGGZ's A3 1.8t - The all rounder build thread

ok so went on a VW club breakfast run on sunday with ash and rory here is just some pics taken of my car
now iv been having crap with my current universal oil catch tank. Went to my mate dusty with some ideas and we were going to build one, but instead he just gave me his one off his vw caddy that he is rebuilding so win for me!
its baffled and sumped with 2 vent ports
has a port for block and head
made a hole in my tip and threaded a piece to connect a hose
and done!
its strange now that iv run the vent back to the tip my idle has improved and the car drives smoother

got a new coil pack harness from Ash at Goldwagen delarey thanks bud
then myself and my mate Wes got cracking on it. The harnes was in absolutely shocking condition, every now and again i would get a misfire until i touch it or move it around so it was time.
i never took much pictures as i forgot to lol
but before
WOTbox wires
snipped the harness as far in as possible
all done and working
then next mod, my mate dyl is selling his car so he asked if i wanted to swap his IE adapters and fsi coils for the original coils! i would have been stupid to say no lol thanks dyl
i dont notice a difference from the original coils to the fsi coils but o well

how much bhp will that add?
Well depends what sticker what I put on it... If I put unitronic then about 50bhp but if I put MIGGZ on it like 1 000 000bhp and ill beat that lawnmower of yours lol.

so got leave this week and did a few things on the car.
did complete service with motul oils and flushed my water system out to try the MOCOOL anit-freeze. now every fluid in my car is motul, engine oil, box oil, brake fluid and anti-freeze
then i decided to clean up the boot and move the amps to the rear 1/4 panels
thanks to wes for helping me out.
then i wanted to see how nice the bottle would look in my boot lol
but took it out and put my sub in instead lol
then next up was finish my intake, fit my K&N filter and make a heat shield (thanks to Wikus from Goldwagen delarey )
then put more stickers on lol
went to yoshi to set my meth and to do some logs and fine tuning. at the moment my current setup saw my intake temps go -2' below ambient temp so thats a win for me so far especially that it was 35' yesterday
one day ill get a dyno reading and see what power im making

Thanks joe really appreciate it. I don't plan on selling this car it will go from my daily to a full track car like prawns one. So I have to put up with its menstrul crap hahahahahha

Stickers don't look half bad I like it! Car just needs a Jardo Detail
did a power run on my car yesterday
that is on the wheels at 1.48bar boost, so its +- 254kw at the fly so over 120kw more then stock so im very happy with how the car is running
also hit 190k on the clock last night which means my car is getting to old lol

so bad luck yesterday not much but still bad luck!
left rear wheel bearing decided to give up on me yesterday so had to limp it home, hopefully ashley will be bringing one home for me tonight and will swap it over.
on another note i might be doing a half a cage layout this week.
Reason for half a cage is:
1: my car is going to be used as a test car
2: i do alot of track day events and the reason i dont want a full cage is the car is a daily and as prawn said for full cage you will need to drive with a helmet so you dont crack your head open if something goes wrong.
3: and a bonus i wont be getting people asking me for lifts lol
any ideas and input?
