So as some of you may have noticed that audi callipers are not the best when it comes to looking good due to the fact that they rust very easy so I painted mine black today but I'm not keen just wondering what you guys think is the best colour for a black car??? Post some pics of any that you have done to give me some inspiration.

Think they look good mate, you got a pic with the wheel on etc?

have you finished them yet? If so what are the discs like are they any good?

Progress is slow I'm afraid, they're getting a second coat of lacquer this evening and hopefully be fitted tomorrow evening. The brakes will need bedding in over a couple of hundred miles or so. Should be heading up to Newcastle this weekend so they should be fully bedded in by the time I get back on Sunday night.

Yeah be good to get some feedback on these discs and to see the callipers when finished. Let me know how you get on with them...

Now THIS is brakes..

No, they are not.
You can tell when its ceramic, the discs do not have the metal shine to it.. almost black.

These are ceramics and they look similar that's all.

I want some of those brembos for our B8 where did you get them and are they for the B8 or something else? Also are they Bilstein coilovers? How do you find them too?

Just search for "brembo BBK Audi A4 B8" on Google or eBay.
This is the 380MM kit, and they wil NOT fit With 18" Wheels, so i have 19" Winter and 20" summer Wheels.
They are for the A4 B8, and fit straigth on. I installed them myself.
I found these at Ebay.de for about £1600 second hand incl shipment (brand New) but expect to pay more.

That is Bilstein PSS10, I got them from Germany at nh-tuning.de
Also installed myself.

I love this setup.

Very good will look in to those, post a pic of the full car would like to see it with them coilovers on? £1600 not too bad as the brake pads for them ceramics are £1400 a set lol and they are done with in a couple of track days :):):)

They retail at £2700 so I think I was lucky on that one.
He also included an extra set of brake pads.

Here is a picture of the car.
(these wheels are now my winter Wheels, nokian hakkapelitta R2 255/35-19)
Waiting for summer to put on brand New Vossen CV3 20X10.

Nice like it, how come in the picture of the back there isn't a tow bar or I can't even see the point for a detachable one? I want a tow bar but don't want to be able to see the point where the bar attaches when it isn't on?

The caractere Valance hides the tow bar very well.
There IS a hole under there.. you just don’t see it like you would on the OEM Valance.

I recomend the Westfalia Removable Towbar.
You can see the backup camera, facelift LED i rear, Adaptive cruise controll, OEM A6 LED plates light.
All retrofitted.

Now for the Winter I have Defa Warm up with timer AND diesel heater.
All retrofitted.

Once you get started, its difficult to stop ;)

Oh good idea, I've just ordered an S4 diffuser too for my quad pipes so tow bar will be seen you think? :(

Put these on the car today don't look too bad actually I thought they might look a bit tacky but they don't look bad at all.

Looking at doing my calipers when I get chance seeing as I Carnt drive at the moment

I've got some vinyl s-line stickers to put on afterwards just wanted to see what everyone else has done

Did anyone seal them after they were applied ? Or did you just stick them on ?

Shouldn't need to seal a high quality vinyl and I didn't want to ruin the powdercoat finish on the clips either. I can always take the off and replace them (don't cost much).

I just stuck mine on I heated the calliper up first and then heated up after to make sure the glue activated in this cold weather and they are stuck like s**t to a blanket...

Thank you I like them I'm quite impressed with how they have come out too, deffo recommend having a go to anyone who doesn't like the rusty callipers.

Mate they look spot on, made my decision easier going with black for my S4 ones I have just got. With the logo did you buy the caliper springs or just put them the casing?

Cheers :) no I didn't bother with the calliper springs I just put them straight on to the calliper and they stook really well.
