I bought my first Audi in Febuary this year
its a A4 TDI 130 Sport 2003 model
it had 82000 miles with full service history and was tidy but a bit bland

hope you like how its coming on so far

Looking good!! All you need to do now is add S4 or S/line door blades, black roof rails to match the grill and window surrounds and your there!

Very nice as is also.

Looks very good, those specific wheels don't work for me, but they certainly sit nicely!

Keeping my door blades as I don't like the s line ones
not loosing the rear wiper as I use it and would *annoy* me if it wasn't there
And I've never been a fan of tints
i just want to drop the front a touch on b5 perches and I'll be happy

Heard on the news they're going to scrap tax discs on cars, funny because I didn't have one in the windscreen for years because it wouldn't stick then spent a bit for a decent one and now it may be going in the bin again haha.

Hi sorry to disturb your post, just a quick question i want to buy a A4 estate sport 130 2003/4 but most of them don't have the full DIS is this common on sport models?

Yeah I'm a Crowle lad too! Got a silver b6 avant quattro sport. Think we followed each other into Crowle a couple days ago.

It would have probably been an option on the Sport.

Just how mine looked when I bought it only changed the alloys so far but want it the same as yours looks really nice

I think it was an option for all models, not sure if it came standard on certain models.

i've just fitted mine and had it enabled and works fine. :D

Hi how much you paid to have it fitted?

i fitted the stalk myself (£35 ish) and paid 30 to get it enabled at my local garage.

Nice I've been looking at doing the same grille mods on mine, as the half honeycomb half normal doesn't do it for me. Did you take any pics of how you secured the lower piece?

looks great pal, exactly how mine looked too before i bought all my bits!
post a pic when you put b5 perches on as thats something im looking at doing in the future if i can be bothered and if its worth doing too!

I've been looking into it to fit them with the coils to keep some of the shocks stroke length, and you seem to get about 12mm drop from them.

Not good mate, but there seems to have been a few people about to witness for you hopefully.

I was approaching a t junction, he was coming along the road from my right
he went to turn into the road I was on and missed the corner completely
going right across in front of me causing my passenger front corner to impact his passenger front corner
he had nearly run someone over 20 minutes earlier and was being followed by those people who were on the phone to the police
so when he hit me the police were on the scene within 2 minutes. he was that drunk he couldn't even get out the car or stand up on his own
ive been told by the police it wasn't his car either but a relatives
and ive been told by my insurance that my car is a write off :(

Not good at all, I hope it doesn't have to come from your insurance if it's not his car?

If you fancy selling the LCR splitter, and lower honeycomb grill before it gets taken away let me know.

You savage! Hahaha!

Gutted for you mate, it really doesn't take a lot to write these cars off these days, they're getting old. My Mrs rear ended somebody a few years back and insurance wanted to write it off, but I managed to wangle them to let me keep it.

Hope you get it sorted and that you stay with audi, particularly the b6. ;)

I was just trying to help him claw a bit of money back before his insurance take the car away :moa:
Has there been anything said about what will happen with it not being his car?

Im just waiting on his insurance to get back to me
my insurance had said its a write off and if they end up dealing with it it will get taken to copart auction

Well I hope they throw the book at the guy who hit you, it could have easily been a child 20 meters up the road if he hadn't hit your car the state he was in.

You can always tell the insurance company to go whistle and repair the car yourself then go to small claims to recover the amount through either the driver or the the cars insurance company/motor insurance bureau. That way your car is not recorded as written off.

Just because the insurance say they would write it off, for what is really minor damage, doesn't mean you have to go along with them.

The fact that he is being done for DD would help a County Court case.

Insurance would love to tell you the car's worth nothing and to take there 20p offer on the car... if it's only cosmetic and still drives straight let it go to someone who will give it a good home and pm me

Drunk drivers... appalling.

Have you asked what the insurance have valued the car at? It may be worth buying it back from them?

I did this for a friend who had his focus estate written off - he paid £450 to buy it back - spent £400 on parts and paint - it took us one evening to swap over the front bumper, bonnet, radiator pack.etc - his total insurance payout was £2200 - so he was left with £1350 and his own car.

Looking at the pictures it looks like it only needs a front bumper, wing, bonnet and headlight cosmetically - there may be some mechanical damage by looking at how far the headlight has been pushed but may be worthwhile having a crack if the buy-back price is decent.
