Hi all, I currently have 18" wheels on my B7 A4 with Falken 452 tyres all round, size 235/40 R18.

I need to replace both front tyres so am weighing up my options for the following:

A) Just replace 2 x front tyres with standard summer tyres.
B) Purchase 4 x Winter tyres size 235/40 R18 - which will be on the car until Mar/April, and then purchase the 2 new front summer tyres when I remove the winter tyres. Although 18" winter tyres are pretty pricey!
C) Removed.

Where can I find the ET number for my current wheels? which are these:

Audi in Wales

Many thanks in advance for your time.

Cheers, Dan.

Am now researching if 17" wheels will fit ok as I do have 4 x winter tyres size 225/45 R17 at my disposal! (bought for my wifes Honda which was written off 2 weeks ago)

Out of interest why do you want to go from 18" to 16" wheels? Personally i would go for option B if you plan putting winter tyres on (a must here in North Scotland!) otherwise Option A seems to be the logical thing to do.

Thanks psycho, 18" winter tyres seem to be really expensive so was weighing up 16" as a cheaper alternative.
Although I now have another option to go for 17" wheels as I have 4 x 225/45 R17 winter tyres at my disposal, all with 6-7mm tread on too.
Think I will ignore option C now.

They would fit my old Audi TT wheels I had on my A3, shame the pcd is 5x100 instead of 5x112, is your car quattro?

Yes, the fitment will be 5x112 on your A4, if your car was quattro then they can handle the odd bit of snow reasonably well on summers, in your case though I would look into 17s as you already have winter tyres, in my experience, a reasonable set of alloys is cheaper than the cost of buying 4 brand new decent brand tyres. Being based further north you get a bit more snow than I get in Devon, that being said I did venture up to the Brecon Beacons for a play in the snow last year.

Thanks Ben, appreciate your thoughts and info.
So as long as I find some Audi 17" wheels, 17 x 7J or 17 x 7.5J, offset between et35 and et48 and 5 stud of course, then I should be good to put the 225/45 R17 tyres on.

Cheers, Dan.
