Hi all,

Just fitted some DRL's to my b7 cabriolet. Wanted to know what others have done.
Post your pics so I can see.

I just posted a thread on how I did this for those interested. :hubbahubba:

I got them from Dectane's eBay outlet for about £140. I'll find the link and post it up shortly. Definitely bumper off job. They also do a kit for the S-Line bumper.

eBay link here

Or you can also get them here.

Which LED bulb are you using for the DRLs? I also have oem bi-xenons but every LED i have put in to replace the factory DRL bulb gives me bulb warnings so i gave up in the end. Unless you're using resistors?

PIAA H367 White, non LED. Maybe not the best pic, they don't look as white here but they are in the flesh. Certainly better than the OEM orange/yellow ones..

I have Cree DRL bulbs and resistors, also have LED's for the sidelights. I went through trying a few canbus free bulbs but none worked so just went for in line resistors.

I use MTEC 382 P21W cheap and cheerful with no errors. I went for the blue ones as they give off a nice blue coloured reflection in the reflector bowl when they're not on. They're not mega bright or anything but they do appear white in colour when. Haven't any pictures of them yet unfortunately.

Wow those are amazing DRLs mate. I'm guessing they can't be installed in an original Audi bixenon headlamp?

Ive got a set of these coming off my car tomorrow, changing to some bi xenons i built using std halogen lights
