MMI_3G_plus_Europe_2013 map Activation

Does anyone know where to get a activation file from.. as my mmi3g maps is now blocked. send me a pm...

Andy,

This can only be carried out by an Audi dealer. The software is totally locked down and needs to be activated via the dealer VAG software connected to the Audi database using a onetime activation code. The serial numbers of the MMI unit are checked against the Audi database as part of the activation security.

Ive just had mine done and it costs £200 plus 1 hours engineers time.

Bye the way, the upgrade is free from the dealer, you only pay for the activation code and hourly rate.

Im not aware of anyone finding a way around this.

Thanks fullbor3 and newburya3q for the replys, I did read the whole thread and even posted a request for a activation file but no one seems to help i heard there are bad copies of this file which can brick the mmi. so now what people are doing now is sending though email...

Try pm a member on A5 OC thread who also requested activation code's and got them.
That should get you out of your problem.
Hope you get it sorted.

All sorted now.. must of pm'd like 30 odd people and only one replied .. all working good.. if anyone needs this activation or mmi files let me know

Hey Andy, do you still have these files? I'm still on 2010 version so updating to 2013 would be a step forward!
