i know it cant kick out 375bhp logs new maf fitted and tc light on in 6th gear only??

i know it cant kick out 375bhp logs


naw bosch maf tc light comes on only when accelerating hard in 6th gear.

any help welcome

Definitely not kicking out 300grams from 2000mbar!

You our got the correct maf?
 
ye correct maf took sensor out to check part nos with the old one.

just strange readings ant the tc light on only when ex hard in 6th.

vcds is throwing up maf error.
 
hope so! flow arrow towards turbo and square end of sensor also facing turbo.
square end is on the outside where electrics connect

tried cheep chiness maf and that was throwing tc light on any gear and when boost kicked in.
 
car idles and drives fine fuel trim at idle and after long run lhs goes to 0.4 max and rhs stays at 0.

any one got a working new or second maf sensor i can purchase? now it should be in classifieds but!!!!!
just driving me mad. maf wasnew from ecp!

how will turbo outlet pipe effect turbo inlet apparent flow?

no idea, but you might remember me asking your advice on it. And that's what the problem was. The hose clip had come off at the turbo end, sometimes it drove perfect for days, other days it gave me a maf fault and was reading 290bhp of air on a standard map

i didn't find this until after I had tried 3 MAFs, and fully rewired the maf loom back to the ecu :-(

did have a look this pipe this morning look ok , will have to do a proper strip down i think!!!!!

i know. I'm still not really sure how it did it, but it did. And was always a maf too high value.
It was odd as well because some times it would hold 18psi, other times it was showing all the signs of a boost leak
smoke test didn't show it up either
 
ok checked all pipes no loose ones ! back to the maf.. more money for something that is a pain.
